- Very Good
This apartment is a 1 minute walk to the park in front of the Eiffel Tower. It takes 6 or 7 minutes to walk to the actual tower. There was a bakery and a market just around the corner on the same block. The metro in either any direction was a 5 minute walk. The park is complete with a playground, tennis courts and running paths. It was a perfect place to stay with kids. Clean and safe
“delightful as always”
This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this apartment so it felt like home as soon as we opened the door. It is a beautiful building, lovely little apartment and great position close to everything. We are about to rebook it again for next year
This is the second time we have used Vacations in Paris, both times the organisation and service has been very good. We really appreciated the guest book that was in the apartment with all the advice from people that had stayed previously - great information on the restuarants, cafes and boulangeries in the local neighbourhood. The apartment was very comfortable for the two of us and the location fantastic with the Eiffel tower basically outside the front door and a short stroll to Rue Cler and the metro
“a perfectly french experience”
This was the 4th apartment we have stayed in through your company and was by far the best. The one last year in Rue Simon Le Franc was disappointing and we could not recommend it but this one has truly made up for it. It was in the most perfect position, seeing the Eiffel tower everytime we left the building was wonderful. The building itself was delightfully french inside and out. Very comfortable and well equipped throughout. We cant wait to stay there again next May.
Very convenient to transportation, resturants and the sites of Paris. Apartment was very quiet in a residential neighborhood. The apartment had sufficient room for the two of us with a kitchen that we didn't use except for breakfast. We had great weather but the apartment wasn't air conditioned so could be uncomfortable if it was hot.
“Snug in Paris”
This small apartment is very cozy and the Eiffel Tower can be seen from the building's front door. The neighborhood is very charming with everything one could need - groceries, laundromat, restaurants, shops. Don't plan on doing much cooking because the cooking unit is a 2 burner on top of the microwave. Meals can be made but plan on cooking simply. With the weekly market 5 minutes away and a very ample grocery store 2 blocks away, you can stock the apartment with the necessaries: fruit, wine, cheese, bread, pastries, coffee, etc. There is a washer but no dryer and the laundromat was a better option. The apartment is showing its age and has the smallest toilet area I've ever seen but we adapted quite well because the location was terrific; to be able to come and go without interruption and have a comfortable bed to return to was a plus over a hotel room. Metro stops are close by in two directions that connect with all parts of Paris. This is very convenient considering that the apartment is on the extreme west side of the city. We had no problems getting around by train or on foot. Our trip was magical and we will return.
“Wonderful One-Bedroom Apt near Eiffel Tower”
Our family (of three) was very comfortable in this large, quiet and well-maintained first floor apartment. The location served us well - as we were able to walk to the Metro, RER stations and to many of the sights in this wonderful city. The apartment was well equipped - our daughter used the roll away bed, which she said was very comfortable. The apartment is located on a very quiet street, so there was minimum noise. We enjoyed walking out our door to see the top of the Eiffel Tower! There is a wonderful bakery around the corner - so breakfasts were easy! I would highly recommend this apartment for two or three people.
“Great flat with a great view outside only!”
This was a great experience with a few caveats. The view of the Tour Eiffel is wonderful but only outside. The place is slightly claustrophobic as the windows only face a crowded courtyard. The rooms are very large and comfortable and having the space makes a big difference compared to smaller flats. The kitchen though small was well equipped. We loved the instant check-in and quick return of our deposit and booking was a cinch and friendly. The furniture is old and somewhat falling apart and needs to be repaired and the bedroom needs a shade to block the light from the courtyard which can be noisy very early in the morning. I would still do it again but would like to have a view from a balcony or some such.
“Perfect Parisian Apartment”
This apartment is perfect. It gives you a taste of a real Parisian apartment not a tourist apartment. This is due to the furnishings and the location. Even though it is very near the Eiffel Tower it is a family neighborhood not just a place for tourists. There are parks nearby and one of the best outdoor markets is located a couple of blocks away on Blvd. de Grenelle. It is on Wednesday and Sunday, with Sunday being the day not to miss. Head into the 15th Arrondissment, which this area of the 7th borders, to mix with the locals and find well priced restaurants. I speak with geniune knowledge of this area. In the 80's I lived in this neighborhood for three years. I try to come back to Paris at least once a year since moving back to the States and this is my favorite neighborhood.
