“Fine enjoyable location, just like home for a home-like Paris st”
This is an older property, ground floor off a quiet passageway near the Rue Champ du Mars district near Ecole Militaire, 7th arrondisment, Paris. Convenient, fully equipped for a leisurely home-like stay in Paris. Not a hotel, but a home with many convenient amenities (fully furnished kitchen; library of travel books; wireless access; power adapter kits; towels, linen and a complimentary bottle of red wine to savour in paris
This apartment is in a great location near the Market street of Rue Cleuar. Also there is a bakery just around the corner that makes the best bread and pasteries. You are in walking distance of the Eiffel Tower and more.
“Excellent stay with confidence”
Being a solo traveller I appreciated the safety of the apartment; also the ground floor "no stairs". The Rue Cler shopping area was great - fresh fruit, fish, cheese, meat, wine and supermarkets just around the corner. Proximity to Metro Ecole Militaire and various bus routes made Paris easily accessible. Also proximity (just round corner in ave Bousquet) for bus to Etoile for air France bus connection to CDG was a money saver.
“Good value for the money”
We recently spent nearly two weeks in this apartment. It was spotlessly clean and ready to occupy when we arrived at 9:30 am. The apartment was in a very quiet location with very little street traffic. There were many restaurants, boulangeries, patisseries, a markets within a 2 block radius. The Eiffel Tower was a mere 10 minute walk away as was the Ecole Militaire metro stop. The #69 bus was also nearby. The apartment also had a window on one side and a patio door on the other side which provided cross ventilation on some of the very warm days we experienced. What we liked best was the peace and quiet. It was not in a lively area at all. We'd stay in the apartment again without hesitation.
“Roomy studio apartment in great location.”
We arrived at 2 Paris Garden Studion apartment from a short stay in London. We where instantly surprised by the ample size and facilities in the apartment. Unfortunately the fridge was not working but as it was snowing this did not pose a problem as we just used the courtyard to keep dairy etc cold. The fridge was replaced before our departure. The unit is extremely well located, close to shops retaurants and the metro. We found the location to be very quiet with very little noise at night. We were only disapointed in a couple of things such as being unable to connect to WI-FI and the condition of the floor ruga. The rugs where extremely dirty and should be replaced or at leat dry cleaned. Overall we were very happy with the apartment and would defininately stay again.
“great location good apartment”
We had a geat stay. Perfect location. The apartment was exactly as described, we would stay again. The outside patio was a great bonus. I never found the "house book" so it was difficult to use the washing machine. You are on the ground floor right by the entrance but it is a quite building so the apt. was surprisingly quiet.
“Small but comfortable”
A nice comfortable apartment for two adults.Three would be a crowd unless a small child.Quiet building with little street noise.Small kitchen and frig but certainly adequate.Sound system(bring CD's)TV,and free phone calls to the U.S.Great location for food shopping in the 7th district on rue Cler. Many good and reasonably priced restaurants in the area.About a 5 min. walk to the Ecole Militaire metro stop.We stayed two weeks and and had a great time.
We stayed in this cute studio apartment. It is located close to Rue Cluer and a bakery just across the lane. It is in walking distance to the Effiel Tower and a metro station. There is a book in the apt that travelers have written in that have stayed at the apartment that give helpful hints. The apartment was clean. It was my Mother, myself and teen daughter that stayed there. We felt safe coming and going. It was nice having the patio - if you open the doors and the window in the kitchen you can get a really good cross breeze. Enjoy your stay! :)
“Around the corner from Rue Cler”
If you are looking for inexpensive accommodation near the wonderful Rue Cler, this is a good option. It is a small basement apartment but it got enough natural light through high windows at one end and through the doors into its own little courtyard at the other. It has a teeny bathroom - but this is Paris so get used to it! As it is off a little pedestrian lane, we found it to be a bonus that it was very quiet for such a central location. It's quite close to the Metro (Ecole Militaire station) which was important to us and walking distance to the Eiffel Tower. The kitchen had most things one needs and being so close to Rue Cler was wonderful - fresh cherries and baguettes for breakfast! It is a small apartment if you are used to southern hemisphere or American proportions but if you are a couple it's absolutely fine. We stayed in June 2007 and had our two children sharing the sofa which was okay but wouldn't recommend THAT for a long stay - certainly ample for one child. (Vacations In Paris did warn us that that would be a bit of a squeeze. Had no problems with VIP incidentally, - the key in the mail etc all worked out fine. Good service and appeared happy to answer questions). We'd certainly stay here again (with one child)and think it is a good, clean and inexpensive option in the 7th. Enjoy!
“My own apartment in Paris”
We have rented the Paris Garden Studio Apartment several times... I always think I will rent another, but I keep coming back to this little gem in the 7th. I like to have lunch in the cafe at the Rodin Museum nearby. A perfect outdoor escape.
