“Wild time at the Wild Cat Lair”

Reviewed 3 Jul 2013

The Wild Cat Lair was a great place to stay while doing the Telluride Bluegrass Festival. It was near the gondola station so was easy access for our ride into town. The condo was very comfy and in a quiet location. We had a decent view of the mountains from the front porch and the condo was well stocked with everything we needed for meal preparation, etc. The only drawback was that it was difficult to figure out how to work the entertainment system. A brief "how to" guide would solve this issue easily. I've been staying in properties provided by Elevation Vacations for years and have always been pleased with my experience. I will definitely utilize their services in the future.

“4th time staying at this property, but needs a lot of work”

Reviewed 14 Apr 2013

This was my fourth time staying at this property and it was sad. The first three times the property was pristine - perfect condition and you truly felt you were in a home someone really cared about. Unfortunately the last few years have not been kind to the Wild Cat Lair. Water damaged floor, steam bath didn't work, the refrigerator is really beat up/doesn't fit and the furniture is just getting old and tired. It just feels like a dated beat up rental now. For the premium you pay to stay at a house in Mountain Village, I will be trying out a different property next time - hopefully the owners will put a little effort into it - I loved staying there in the past! Elevation Vacations staff though - they were excellent - as always- next time I'll just choose a different property of theirs.

“Hassle Free”

We have visited Telluride several times and have found our accommodations through Elevation Vacations every time. The rental property's are always ideally located, beautifully appointed and completely furnished. Always hassle free and always a wonderful time!

“Worth every bit.”

Wild Cat Lair is a well appointed log home. Excellent location that is within easy walking of the gondola station and grocery store. Not great, but good views of mountains.

“Memorable Stay”

Reviewed 6 Oct 2010

We were at Telluride for my son's wedding and the Wild Cat Lair made the event even more memorable. The owners considered everything you would want and expect from a first class resort. I would like to thank customer service who were always available to assist us.

“Great place”

Reviewed 24 Feb 2010

30 yards to the slopes. 150 yards to the gondola/grocery. It is an uphill walk back to the condo from the grocery/gondola with no sidewalks so you are walking in the road.---only negative about this place Each level/bedroom is very spacious and each have a private full bath.

“Blues & Brews Vacation”

Reviewed 10 Sep 2009

Our stay at the Wild Cat Lair was very enjoyable. It is a beautiful home, extremely comfortable and clean. The location was not far from the gondola, just a short and pretty ride into Telluride, where we attended the Blues & Brews festival for several days. We had 2 couples sleeping in the 2 bedrooms, and 1 single sleeping in the loft. It was nice that everyone had their own bathrooms! The hot tub was wonderful as well. One inconvenience we encountered was that the dishwasher had a note on it that it was not working, so we had to wash out glasses everyday. (We used quite a few!) It hopefully is fixed by now. I would recommend this home to anyone interested in renting a tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable vacation home.

“Comfortable, convenient, beautiful home, with gorgeous views”

Reviewed 25 Aug 2009

The service we received there was excellent. There was a small maintenance issue when we got there that the service attendent fixed right away after contacting him. We liked the set-up of the house: the floor plan, the decorations, the furniture, the place the fireplace was put, the beds were very comfortable, and the living room was a great meeting place for our party of five. The cabin was in an excellent location within walking distance of the grocery store and gondola lift. The cabin was stocked with plenty of pots and pans - we were able to make a turkey dinner with the minimal amount of effort. The homey atmosphere and the family pictures added to comfortability that makes it a home. We thank the family for making the home available to us on that memorable Thanksgiving weekend.
