Pohailani 2 bedroom / 1 bath - Unit 148 - Kahana

If you are looking for one of the best locations and vacation values on Maui, look no further! Pohailani #148, is a lovely two bedroom / one bath condominium that sleeps six comfortably. Located on the first floor of a single two story building, the property is situated in a lush & tropical setting.

Equipped with all the comforts of home, the living room is tastefully furnished and decorated including a queen sized sofa sleeper and 37" television, cable and DVD player. The kitchen has been updated with new cabinets, tile flooring, granite counter tops and stainless appliances including a dishwasher, full sized refrigerator, oven and microwave. There is complete service for six people and a full set of silverware, pots and pans, toaster, knife set, blender, rice cooker, and slow cooker. There is a dining table for four.

Both bedrooms feature brand new queen beds (Summer 2019) and 27" televisions. A small drop leaf table is in the second bedroom for your laptop computer, games or puzzles.

The bathroom features a fully tiled walk-in shower, tiled flooring and a granite counter vanity. Do your own laundry in the washer and dryer located in the bathroom. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening meal on the spacious lanai which has a four foot round table with four chairs and four additional stackable chairs.

Two Air Conditioning units that keep the condominium cool during hot summer days. Plus Ceiling fans are in every room.

Free Wi-Fi. There is one assigned parking space plus guest parking spaces available throughout the property.

Centrally located in Kahana, West Maui, the beautifully landscaped and tranquil Pohailani Resort, or Kalekaiko (Paradise), is located in a very quiet private facility that is great for relaxation and enjoying the many beautiful plants, trees and birds. Exercising on the tennis and basketball court is only one minute across the commons.

After the vigorous activities, you can cool off in the pool just twenty steps from your lanai. For immediate shopping and dining or fast food, one minute to the gate behind the property is a mini mall with two restaurants and next door is the China Boat Restaurant, a McDonalds’, a Dive Shop, a convenience store, and several small shops. You can enjoy snorkeling, boogie boarding, swimming and building sand castles, reading or just kicking back in the sun.

For the golfer, there are four world class golf courses within seven minutes from the facility. North and South courses at Ka'anapali. The North Course is the location of Wendi's Skin Games and for years hosted the Senior Tour. They also shot the 2008, The Big Break, for The Golf Channel on the North Course. North of the Pohailani is Kapalua featuring The Plantation Course and the Kapalua Bay course. The Plantation Course is the home of the SBS Tour championship (was Mercedes Open), the first competition of the PGA Tour each year. If these four courses are not enough challenge, there are eight other top rated courses on Maui plus the Kahului city course.

A five minute drive south is Ka'anapali. Aside from the golf, Ka'anapali offers terrific dining at five star restaurants, black rock beach, shopping and the Whale Museum at Whalers Village. Three more minutes south is Lahaina. Lahaina, once the whaling capital of the world, offers shopping at The Cannery Mall, (once a pineapple canning factory), a Sugar Cane Train Tour, dining and shopping. Along Lahaina's Front Street is one of the world's largest banyan trees covering 2/3 of an acre. Behind the banyan tree is the Lahaina Harbor where you depart for sea excursions to watch the whales - in season, cruise to other islands or board the Yellow Submarine for underwater views without getting wet. On Front Street there are the usual tourist shops and several art and jewelry shops featuring world re-known artist's pieces.
