Tucked away from prying eyes, this lovely pool level Condominium is private and artfully decorated. In addition, it is within feet of the Caribbean. Loving owners have added personal touches that will feel like home to the traveler. Comfy pillows, colorful throws and cushions to pamper even the pickiest vacationer. This hidden gem is a 10 minute walk to Mahahual's light house and the start of the Malecon. Far away from loud noisy bars, it is just the right place to see the stars and feel nature as it should be experienced while at the same time spend your vacation in a little luxury and comfort.

Those who have never stayed in Mahahual will find it a delight. A sleepy fishing village is on the verge of waking up, so take this opportunity to experience before it grows into Playa del Carmen.

Getting around

The nearest airport is Chetumal at 1.5 hours away. Taxis are reasonable from Chetumal but more expensive from Mahahual. Busses leave Chetumal frequently and are safe. Costa Maya Villas are less than a km to the bus station. Taxis are plentiful in Mahahual. A car is not needed to stay at Costa Maya Villas, although if you want to do some day trips it is recommended. Trips to Bacalar and one of the near by ruins such as Chacchoben, ,Kohunlich and Dzibanche are worth visiting. For divers, there are many good dive outfits. Trips to Banco Chinchorro must be booked in advance because spaces are limited and fill up during high season and weekends. Again, taxis are plentiful. '

Interaction with guest

The condominium is a private Home with a secured pushbutton code access. We value your privacy and won't come to the home unless there is something wrong. You will be sent the code shortly before your arrival. I will check with you via email to see if everything is OK during your stay and ask that you communicate any problems you might encounter. We can also make suggestions via email for shopping, diving and other excursions.
