Description

Villa Banyan, Umeanyar, is a fully serviced, luxury vacation rental destination on the northern coast of Bali. The property is set 30 meters above sea level (Tsunami safe!) on a small cliff, just 270m from the beach. The huge villa (580 sq-metre living space) has 5-bedrooms and is fully equipped with a large kitchen including all modern appliances, a spacious living and media room, a huge 18x6m infinity pool, and various lounge areas, balconies and terraces to benefit from the vast and breath-taking scenery of this unique spot.

The Location

The villa is surrounded by 3400sq. metres of terraced tropical garden on three levels. Kids will have a ball exploring this place and playing hide-and-seek. There are two Bale Bengongs (Gazebos) built directly into the cliff with stunning views over the blue ocean and the vivid green rice paddies stretching right up to the edge of the black volcanic sand beach of the Bali Sea. An old majestic fig tree gives shade and lends the villa its name. The centre of the L-shaped house with its large infinity pool opens to the green zone of the village, while the back borders to a local temple used for ceremonies only 2-3 times a year. Thus, being without direct neighbours, the property is an ideal location for the ultimate relaxation experience; yet, it is still very close to a variety of local restaurants and the smaller resorts of the area.

The Villa

The generously spaced villa offers 580 sq. metres of living space covered with traditional Alang-Alang roof. It is designed in a unique combination of modern and traditional Balinese architectural elements. The property offers the best of Balinese hospitality with European standards through luxury, refinement, modernity, design, space and comfort. In 5 air-conditioned bedrooms we can accommodate up to 10 guests. There are 4 master and main bedrooms all with ocean views and en-suite bathrooms featuring modern appliances (hairdryer, bathrobes, bathroom amenities and laundry services). An additional bedroom is dedicated to younger guests and can be connected to either of two bedrooms on the ground floor.

The Bathrooms

The en-suite bathrooms have modern European appliances and are constructed from natural materials: teak wood cabinets, Terrazzo tops and nature stone flooring. The master baths have a private garden with palm trees and decorative and soothing water wall statues. Other amenities include hair dryers in each bathroom and our banyan villa signature series "Jardin d´Umeanyar" of organic soap, shower gel, shampoo and hair conditioner etc.

The Living Room

The modern living / media room has a brand new 50" LCD TV with more than 100 International channels (Indovision), a DVD player with surround sound system and a mediaplayer with more than 500 international movies. Of course you have a wireless “Hot Spot” with unlimited and free WIFI access. For Kids there is a Playstation 3 with fun games.

The Pool

The 18x6 m infinity pool is embedded in a 100 sq-metre natural stone deck. The pool is family-friendly with wide walk-in steps that are excellent for those needing a gentle entry, or for the little ones to play on. There are 3 depth levels so that you can take real morning laps if you wish. At the corners of the infinity side, which is close to the edge of the cliff, there is underwater seating, so you can enjoy the beautiful view and/ or your cocktail without having to tread water at the same time.

Services

To make sure the villa is running smoothly there are 7 dedicated English-speaking staff members. 1 manager/ helpdesk, 2 cook /housekeeper, 2 gardeners, 1 security guard and 1 driver. Airport Return Transportation can be arranged. The villa has its own Luxury Van with driver for up to 8 guests which can be rented for shopping and tours in the area.

Food & Groceries & Private Chef

If you stay 7 nights or more the first lunch or dinner (depending on arrival time) and breakfast on first morning are included in the rental price. Mineral water is provided at all times. Additional groceries can be bought by yourself or organised through our shopping service. Our cook can prepare your lunch and dinner, which you may choose in advance from an extensive menu. For this you must only pay for the ingredients, which are happily organised by the staff against receipt and for a tiny transportation fee. Of course, if you wish, you may also use our car with driver to do the grocery shopping yourself (most guests don´t). There is a well-stocked supermarket just 5 minutes from the villa in the centre of Seririt.
