on Silverstrand Beach

Oxnard, California

This sun-filled retreat is a short stroll to the sand* and offers two bedrooms (King bed, Queen bed, and two twin beds upstairs in the low ceilinged children's loft), 1-1/2 bathrooms, a wood burning fireplace, cable/DVD/iPod dock station, a private back yard featuring a Jacuzzi, bar-b-que, fire pit, and an outside hot shower to enjoy after swimming, sailing or surfing in the beautiful Pacific ocean.

* The cottage is less than a block from the sand

1. Please do not smoke in or around the house.
2. The maximum number of occupants of our home is 6. Our home is not to be used for weddings, parties, or any other events. Having a gathering of more than 6 individuals will forfeit your security deposit and immediate cancellation of your reservation.
3. Please clean out the BBQ and/or fire pit upon departure. Put the embers in the metal ash container in the backyard.
4. Only flush toilet paper. No disposable menstrual products/wipes.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Deborah (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
