Pooh's Villa sits on a huge yard with lot's of privacy that backs up to a picturesque wooded nature reserve area and features a South Facing Pool & Spa. Pooh's Villa has wood floors (to make Pooh feel at home) granite counter tops, flat surface cooker-stove-double door refrigerator-double oven - 50" Flat Screen TV - Game system with games and all the extras - Game Room with Pool Table, Air Hockey Table, Darts & family games. Free High Speed Wireless Internet - Flat Screen TV's in every bedroom - master bedroom has an En-suite bath with a Jacuzzi there are so many features that Pooh cannot even remember them all...

“Not what expected”

First day into the next day 8pm air conditioner was not working. There were roaches and the beds were not comfortable. They have us an extra day but still didn’t make up for the bad.

Response from the manager Isn't it interesting how often those that complain the loudest about everyone else -  rarely apply the same standards to themselves?  And so it is ; Yes the A.C. went down. 1st Call notifying us came in at 11:27 AM on July 1st.  By 7:27 pm that same day July 1st, (during a nationwide heat wave) A.C. had been repaired and was working properly. During that time and the day after took a total of 9 times contacting us asking for additional compensation. Despite 9 times contacting us, not a single word about bugs or uncomfortable beds was mentioned... just the demand for additional compensation (1st we heard of bugs and beds was in the review above). Regardless, Compensated guests a free additional day and night at the villa for their discomfort ( *** Guests were informed that by giving an extra day, a "back to back" check out situation was being created and asked for their co-operation in leaving the villa in good shape, which they acknowledged ***).   ON Check out, Guests left trash throughout the home, Food scraps and crumbs throughout the kitchen, and 6+ loads of dirty wash (including bed linens AND their back ups). How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
