Peter and Julie Stokes, innkeepers/owners since 2014, invite your group to experience this historic and treasured farmhouse built in 1879 on Catawba Island/Port Clinton OH.
Located one mile from Lake Erie shoreline in the heart of vacationland. SunnySide Tower Vacation Rental is one mile from Miller Ferry Dock to Put-In-Bay, exclusive Catawba Island Club (CIC), and TwinOast Brewing and Orchard on Catawba.
A Tripadvisor Hall of Fame property, earning five-consecutive Certificate of Excellence and Service Awards from 2015 to 2019.
Sunnyside Tower has been refreshed and updated with 11 bedrooms, 17 beds, 7.5 bathrooms, and 2 kitchens. Perfect spot for family reunions and large group gatherings.
The farmhouse features a screened sunroom, dining room, Grand Salon living room with 65" HDTV. The entire house has air-conditioning and 5-G Wi-Fi. Two well-stocked kitchens one with center island and Chef's kitchen stocked with necessary equipment and basic pantry supplies.
Outdoor grounds offer two-acres of lush gardens, bonfire pit with wood provided, plenty of outdoor seating, patio furniture, two Blackstone gas grills, picnic tables, relaxing patio furniture, and stage area. There is plenty of room for lawn games with corn hole and gaming equipment. A mix of adult and child bicycles.
The lovely Heigel Park, a nine-acre sports park, is located next to property offering two tennis courts, four pickleball courts, basketball court, pavilion, and two playgrounds. Soccer fields and giant workout hill complete the complex. Lake Erie shoreline is behind park and quiet neighborhood, just a short walk under one mile to Catawba Island State Park with fishing pier and boat launch.
Sunnyside Tower Vacation Rental is the perfect gathering place for family reunions, wedding attendees, bachelorette or bachelor weekends, class reunions, church retreats, business retreats or any special event celebrated with family and friends.
