In a beautiful, quiet residential area in the C section of Palm Coast, our fully furnished and equipped house is on the canal where you can fish for real ocean fish that come in with the tide. It was modernized about 10 years ago, with granite kitchen counters and new cabinets, has a big pool, outside dining area. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the beach by car, about 1.25 hours to Disney World, 1/2 hour to Daytona Beach, 1/2 hour to St. Augustine. The house is on a cul de sac, safe for children to ride their bikes and play outside. Since this is a ranch style home, it is accessible to wheelchair users with no problem. When you enter the front door there is a small step down into the living room. To the outside dining area by the pool there is a small step down as well. And from there to the pool there is a small step down. We believe they are easily managed by wheel chair users, with assistance.

We have a pack and play, stroller, front and rear facing car seat for a child under 40 lbs. , booster seat for toddlers and a small cot for a child to sleep on.

On Mondays the pool caretaker comes in the back to clean the pool and wash the filter. He has the key to the pool enclosure only and locks after he is done. The landscaper also comes once a week to keep the grounds. He does not have keys to enter the house or pool area.

Getting around

The best way to get around is by car. Route 95 is nearby and the fastest way to get to the sites. But A1A is parallel to 95, along the shore and scenic, if you prefer. To travel by train to Orlando, Tampa or south to the Miami area you must go to Palatka, about half an hour away.

Interaction with guest

We do not intervene in guests' stay unless they contact us. There is a lock box on the door, so you let yourself in and out when your stay is over. I leave a small book on the kitchen counter with my greeting, instructions and information you might need while you are there. You may leave me a comment in the book and read the comments left by other guests.

House rules

No food or drinks in the bedrooms.
Clean the BBQ after you use it
Do not overload the washing machine. Wash sand off the towels and bathing suits outside with the hose before loading them in the washer.
No diving into the pool. It is not deep enough.
No swimming in the canal allowed. Sea creatures come in with the tide.
Pool man will clean it on Mondays.
Landscaper comes once a week.
Take out the trash regularly and to the curb on trash days.
