Description

This is a unique flat overlooking one of the most beautiful parts of the River Thames. The property comprises of a main living area with a vaulted ceiling and a small fully fitted kitchen with fridge, oven and washing machine. There is a separate bedroom with a super king bed and a separate bathroom. In the eves of the main living area there is a mezzanine sleeping area with king size futon mattress. The flat is great for kids over 5 as they enjoy sleeping in the mezzanine sleeping area, however; if you have younger children you are able to mount the ladder away securely from the wall leading up to the mezzanine. The flat is equipped with a travel cot. The flat also benefits from free wifi, a television, dvd player, dvds, and books. The flat is minutes away from Richmond train station with fast trains into the centre of London (20 minutes) as well as a wide network of bus routes (Twickenham, Kew, Heathrow, Teddington, Hammersmith and Kingston to name a few). The flat is only a 30 minute walk to world famous Twickenham Rugby Stadium and a tube or bus ride away from Wimbledon Tennis Courts. The train station also has the district line if you prefer the underground. Richmond itself is a very special place with numerous shops bars and restaurants. It has two cinemas and two theatres. Richmond Park is the largest of the Royal Parks with its famous roaming herds of deer and parakeets. 20 minutes walk away is the world renowned Kew Gardens. You can walk to a number of stately homes including Ham House and Marble Hill or get the boat to Hampton Court Palace. The only risk is that you might forget to visit central London! Note: No parking but there is pay and display available nearby - 2 hours max stay (there is non restriction parking 15 mins walk away). Top floor apartment (three floors to the top) PS: No elevator.

“Great little flat with many lovely details”

We loved this little attic flat. All you need and more you find in the kitchen. The two beds are very good, one is huge, the other you can reach with a ladder and is located directly under the roof, a fun not only for kids.... The owner is very friendly, and she answered very quickly all the questions we had - before and during our stay in London. And: we find nice and fresh flowers on the table :) Richmond is a good place to live with a lot of green areas and a good connection by underground and train to Central London.
