Alchemy Blue is a contemporary 3 bedroom self- contained beach house with stylish modern furnishings. Inside and out, its fresh design and beachy colour schemes sit harmoniously in the unspoilt environment of Island Beach, which is located on the sheltered north coast of Kangaroo Island.

Our guests relish the secluded setting over- looking the pristine beach, whilst indulging in fine food, wine and the ever changing sea vistas.

Relaxing outdoor furniture, shady market umbrellas and the hooded barbeque makes your sundeck an indulgent place to relax or entertain.

Alchemy Blue has direct beach access and 180 degree views from American River to Rocky Point and beyond.

LIVING AREAS

Open plan living, dining and kitchen areas opening to the sheltered north facing deck, provide for a relaxed lifestyle. Listen to your favourite music using the BOSE sound dock or on the CD player, relax with a DVD or watch the flat screen TV.

A modern fully equipped kitchen is complete with NESPRESSO coffee machine, coffee plunger, dishwasher, microwave, ceramic cook top with separate oven and stainless steel range hood.

A slow burning heater keeps the house cosy and warm in winter, with ceiling fans complementing the afternoon sea breezes to cool the house in summer.

BEDROOMS

Alchemy Blue has three bedrooms sleeping 6 people.

Comfy doonas and pillows are provided. Fine quality linen and towels are supplied as part of the tariff. Beach towels are not included.

The Master Bedroom features magnificent sea views with a queen sized bed complete with electric blanket and en -suite bathroom.

The Second Bedroom with sea views and also overlooking a private garden deck surrounded by the natural scrub landscape, also contain a queen sized bed complete with electric blanket.

The third Bedroom has two single beds accommodating 2 people. .

ADDITIONAL FEATURES

The main Bathroom is equipped with separate shower, bathtub, hair dryer, laundry facilities complete with washing machine iron and ironing board.The WC is separate.

Childrens gear includes a port-o-cot, high chair, change pad and IKEA table and chairs for playtime.

A sheltered "garden deck" set in the private natural woodland garden provides further options for outdoor living.

Resident wallabies, kangaroos and goannas are daily visitors around the house with pelicans, molly hawks, terns, gulls and oyster catchers occupying the beach.

As you are aware,our Tenancy Agreement notes that whilst cleaning is included and we stressed that you were NOT required to clean, we do have an expectation,along with a majority of other house renters,that our properties be treated with respect and not left in an unreasonable state.By way of explanation to you, you will recall I suggested that it was not unreasonable that if excessive sand was tracked in from the beach of food spilt on floors,it would be swept or wiped up.These are quite normal requirements in House Rentals and are not onerous. We have pride in our property and go to great lengths to ensure our guests have a memorable stay. From our correspondance before your arrival, we were aware of your issue and this is the reason we offered you a full refund some weeks before your arrival. We did not want it to cloud your experience. Thank you for booking and also leaving the premises in a tidy state.We hope you enjoyed your stay. Brent Blanks
