Description
Introduction:
Our lovely apartment is located on the ocean front within walking distance of the lighthouse and Southern Tip icon. There is also a safe parking space available right outside the door. You will love it because of the location and the light colourful ambiance. It's suitable for couples, families, friends or solo adventurers. Welcome!
The Accommodation:
Bright and spacious (8.5m x 4.5m) studio bedroom with comfy king size bed (extra length for our taller visitors!) and two single beds for extra guests. This room has a sea view from a side window.
All quality white cotton linen, towels and swimming towels are supplied and changed every fourth day.
En-suite bathroom with shower plus additional outside shower with hot and cold water for rinsing off after a swim in the tidal pool.
Sunny kitchen is fully equipped with 2 induction cookers; microwave oven; fridge/freezer; kettle; toaster; iron and ironing board; dishwasher and washing machine.
Pots and pans, utensils and crockery for 4 are included.
Private garden has a BBQ/braai, table and 4 chairs and washing line and gate leading directly to the seafront and tidal pool.
BBQ/Braai wood, firelighters and matches are provided.
Breakfast
Breakfast of fruit juice; cereals; yogurt; fresh fruit; fresh bakes with homemade preserves and filter coffee or tea.
While the tap water is safe to drink, our own reverse osmosis plant ensures it tastes good.
Eco Awareness
Living in such a beautiful, unspoilt place has made us conscious of the need to preserve the environment.
We have 2 solar geysers for our hot water; water tanks to catch the rain; a large compost bin to reduce our kitchen and garden waste to nourishing food for the garden and an indigenous fynbos garden that attracts birds and frogs.
Things to do...
Guests are welcome to enjoy our sunny courtyard and fynbos garden that lead directly to the seafront.
There is a flat screen monitor and a DVD player. You are welcome to use our extensive library of movies. We do not offer TV and free Wifi is available although slow at times.
The tidal pool is on our doorstep with the historic Agulhas Lighthouse a 5 minute stroll away. A gentle walk along a boardwalk will take you to the southern tip of Africa.
We are on the threshold of the Agulhas National Park.
