Description

Among lush forests and pristine waterways, in Tuscany, precisely in Lunigiana, land of Castles and ancient stone villages, we have recovered an ancient building directly overlooking the Via Francigena. The recovery took place through the use of natural materials, applying the principles of green building. In harmony with the environment we offer breakfasts based on local products (cold cuts, cheeses, Lunigianese herb cakes, Luncellese buccellato, etc.) and we pay attention to minimizing our ecological footprint by using detergents based on natural products, without surfactants and in refillable packaging. We do not use plastic plates, glasses, cutlery and crockery and heating and hot water are produced using renewable fuels (wood and pellets). The village, Previdè, a handful of houses in an enchanting environment immersed in the green of the Valdantena, offers a quiet stay in a place from which, however, some fascinating destinations are easily reachable (Riomaggiore and the 5 Terre 60 km; Pisa 100 km; Florence 170 km, Genoa 125 km, Carrara and its marble quarries 60 km, Forte dei Marmi and Versilia 70 km, Parma 90 km). Finally, thanks to the generosity of the surrounding woods, which, in season, offer very fragrant porcini mushrooms, the place is ideal for those who love to dedicate themselves to mushroom picking.
