SUPERB LOCATION -Centre of village and next to harbour, beach and sea. BBC drama "Pitching In" filmed in beautiful Cemaes Bay. 2 bedroom (1 kingsize double bed + 2 single beds) first floor apartment in excellent position in historic Cemaes village. Dog friendly, unlimited full fibre Wifi and large private car park and access to the harbour - ideal for guests with sailing boats. Literally, a stones throw away from the harbour, 3 sandy "dog friendly" beaches, the quaint,charming High St of Cemaes which maintains a wonderful air of yesteryear together with 3 pubs and an award winning chippy!. Next to the Maritime Museum. Although at the rear of the building the large shared front garden enjoys sea, beach and harbour views and the main communal entrance door of the building is literally 50 yards from the promenade and harbour. One of 6 apartments in what was originally Cemaes School built around 1885. Park your cars (2 cars) or boat trailer on the large, private, smooth tarmaced car park for residents use only outside the apartment and explore Cemaes Bay or use as a base to explore the rest of the island. Cemaes is ideally suited for family beachside holidays or quiet winter retreats.Boat trips daily during the summer and fishing from the breakwater all year. Ideal for golfers with Bull Bay Golf course close by. Walkers and birdwatchers can access the coastal path which runs through the bay and around the whole island.Cemaes is a multiple winner in the annual "Wales in Bloom" competition. It is partly owned by the National Trust and designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty(ANOB). Quiet and safe environment particularly for children as a bypass skirts the village with only local traffic accessing the High St. Up to 2 well behaved small to medium pets are welcome (£30 each). There are local pet friendly pubs/restaurants in Cemaes all serving good value food within a 100 yds of the apartment. A comfortable,good value, no nonsense, pet friendly holiday apartment for families or couples alike. Strictly no smoking. Which ever season you visit Cemaes Bay will not disappoint!

Getting around

Cemaes is on the main coastal road bus route between Bangor and Hollyhead. There is a regular service which stops in the village and so getting around by bus is easy. Hollyhead is only 10 miles away so Cemaes is a handy stage post for ferries to Ireland.

Interaction with guest

Any queries you may have will be handled immediately. Our housekeeper lives very close by and we are always available at the end of the phone. COVID 19 policy; Your safety during your stay at Quayside is very important to us and we shall be running a detailed antibacterial cleaning regime. In order to give the housekeeper more time we are requesting guests to please check in after 4 pm and check out before 10 am. Also, we shall be leaving some large laundry bags for you to use to strip the beds on departure. Your help with this will be really appreciated.

This is a lovely two bedroom apartment at the back of a number of apartments near the village of Cemaes Bay. It was lovely and warm and cosy when we were there in late January early February. We were welcomed with cake, and biscuits for our dog! The beach and nice promenade is just across the road and the village with a few shops and a couple of dog friendly pubs is 2 minutes walk away. Great find. Thank you

A great base for exploring Anglesey. Just as described on the website the apartment was clean and tidy and the kitchen was well equipped. Loved the cake that welcomed us!! Just what we needed. So close to the beach as well.
