This authentic 2 story Log Cabin is nestled on a wooded lot with a stream running through the back yard where deer come to feed. The cabin is located in a gated community with a heated pool within walking distance, a playground for the kids, a basketball court and a beautiful lake suitable for fishing, electric powered boats and a beach area. The Log Cabin has 2 enclosed bedrooms downstairs and an open office area that doubles as a 3rd bedroom with a pull out sofa bed. 2 full baths; The upstairs bathroom is equipped with a Jacuzzi tub and shower. The downstairs bathroom has a full size tub/shower. The cabin can accommodate 6 people to sleep and eat. The master bedroom has a king bed. The 2nd bedroom has 2 sets of bunk beds (doubles on the bottom and singles on the top), 2 roll away cots and the office area has a pull out sofa bed in addition to 2 blowup mattresses. The upstairs has a Queen size futon couch and a full size futon in the kitchen. All new stainless steel appliances, a washer and dryer in the downstairs laundry room, dishwasher, 5 burner stove/grill, expanded cable TV in the living room and master bedroom, gas burning fireplace and an electric fireplace/stove. There are 2 huge covered decks on the front and back that are the length of the house with 2 additional decks in the back approaching the stream as well as a gas grill and furniture. Pets allowed.

THE POOL: Pool hours this year are 12-7pm and because of Covid-19 and sanitation reasons there are some additional rules:

Pool chairs will not be provided (Please bring your own)

Bathrooms will be closed

Face masks should be worn in the pool area but not in the pool and 6ft social distancing is required in the pool as well as the pool area.

Bring your own sanitizer.

Please have a mask with you for when social distancing cannot be achieved at the lake and playground.

We have central A/C and is usually kept at 80 degrees when no one is there. Please make the adjustment so you will be comfortable and return to 80 degrees when you depart.

In the winter the thermostat for the heat is kept at 55 degrees. Please make the adjustment so that you will be comfortable and return to 55 degrees when you depart.

The Gas Fireplace: Please do not turn off the pilot light. Instructions to operate the gas fireplace: pull down the bottom face plate on the fireplace. You will see 2 knobs. Turn the left knob until the fireplace ignites and turn if off the same way turning the knob the other way. The knob on the right adjusts the flame height. Easy peasy! One small catch however! Do not push the left knob in and turn it or it will extinquish the pilot light which is extreamly hard to light again. Sorry for this inconvenience. We have plans to replace the entire unit.

Jacuzzi: There is a switch on the wall under the light switch that has to be turned on in order to use the jets in the Jacuzzi. Currently the button in the tub for the jets is stuck in the on position. Fill the tub past the jets and then turn the switch on the wall on before getting in.

Due to Covid-19 virus we no longer supply sheets and towels. Please bring your own. We do have plenty of blankets and pillows. Also we have a full size washer and dryer if you need to launder anything before using or before leaving. DISCLAIMER: When you enter the cabin you should inspect the premises and communicate anything not to your liking asap or at least within 8 hours to the host. Any complaints made after this time period will not be entertained and you should not expect a refund. We are always open to and appreciate your feedback regarding our hospitality.

No gas powered vehicles are permitted on the Lake. Fishing is permitted with a license.
