Paradise unfolds... Fragrant flowers, tropical fruit and acres of lawn make up the surroundings at Villa Vista Linda. The driveway is lined with hibiscus shrubs, bougainvillea, oleanders, fragrant plumeria trees and other lush, tropical flowering plants and trees. The scent of gardenias and the beauty of orchids abound. You have arrived at Vista Linda.

Located in Pilon, in the uplands of west-central Vieques, this gated private estate offers spectacular views of the southern coast of the island towards the Caribbean Sea. Well worth its name...Vista Linda!

Enjoy a peaceful, private vacation experience in a style of graceful tropical elegance. Within the six-acre estate is the Villa proper. The upper floor houses the main living areas with its 20-foot high ceilings and cooling ocean breezes. Venture out into the veranda and take in the gorgeous view. Festive dinners for up to 12 people can be held at the long French Country dining table. And afterwards, settle in for an after dinner drinks or coffee in one of the cozy sitting areas.

The lower level or Terraza offers more possibilities. Bright, open and airy, the arched columns and filigreed ironwork let fresh breezes blow through for true alfresco living. Lounge with a cool drink from the Coqui Cabana Bar or enjoy lunch or a sunset dinner from within the Terraza or Poolside.

The crown jewel of the estate is the gorgeous pool with its spectacular unobstructed and expansive views of the southern coast including Mt. Pirata - the highest peak on the island.

Set apart from the villa and adjoining the terraza and pool is the Casita, a charming small house with its own living room, kitchen/dining area and beautifully appointed bath.

Among the available sleeping accommodations are the master bedroom and 3 guestrooms in the Villa, and a private suite in the Casita.

The villa's spacious master bedroom combines a feeling of luxury with a sense of the tropics. Tall, richly finished teakwood doors and antique wood furnishings add to the effect. Cooling sea breezes can be enjoyed during any season and guests can sleep in air conditioned comfort if desired.

A 7 foot round tub is the centerpiece of the master bathroom, perfect for the ultimate bubble bath! As you lay there relaxing, you can gaze out through the wall of glass louvered windows at the lush green forest beyond. Also featured are dual sinks, a glass stand-up shower, and a bidet.

The Villa features three more bedrooms in addition to the Master bedroom. Two bedrooms are at the opposite end of the villa across the great room. The first offers a queen bed and the second has two full-size beds. Each bedroom has ample closet space and together the rooms share a large and well appointed bathroom between them. The third bedroom is located on the first floor of the Villa and has a queen sized bed, it's own entrance and private bath.

The Casita bedroom features a queen bed and and a beautifully appointed bathroom. There is a daybed in the living room which will sleep one adult or two children quite comfortably.

Vista Linda is the perfect choice for your Caribbean getaway, a quiet vacation retreat, family reunions or special gathering of friends. You have a choice of booking 3-bedrooms (Main House), 4-bedrooms (Main House plus the Coqui Suite) or 5 bedrooms (the entire property; Main House plus the Coqui Suite plus the Casita)

If desired, Vista Linda can host the most lavish of Gala Events such as Weddings, Anniversary Celebrations or Corporate Functions. All functions require a minimum of one week booking for the entire property

“The best of everything”

My family and I, 5 in all, spent a week at Vista Linda with my sister in law and her four teenagers and could not have enjoyed it more. The location is very central but secluded. The views are fantastic and the evening breeze off the ocean is very welcome at the end of a day on the beach. The house is laid out in a way that let's a big group spread out or come together as they choose. The pool and pool table were the kid's go-to spots while the adults took to the porch upstairs. The kitchen was a great morning hub for breakfast and sandwich making for the beach. We have been to Vieques many times and have stayed at Vista Linda several times. We wouldn't consider staying anywhere else and were very pleased to see that ownership has not only maintained but continued to upgrade the property. We can't wait to get back.

Vista Linda is even better than the pictures. Greeted at the airport by the house manager and brought to the Villa. Wow the place is simply huge with 200 degree views of the Carribean, Mountains and Southern bays of Vieques. The grounds are manacured with fruit, palm, coconut trees galore. Flowering tress an bushes as well. The Coqui Bar and Billard room encouraged lots of fun time. The pool is immaculate 20x40 with a large deck and furniture. The media center has a new wide screen and shelves of cds and dvd's and is bluetooth for streaming. Internet was avaiable throughout the house which is masive. They even had beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and a commercial ice maker. We were relaxed immediately. The island is great to explore the beaches and all the small restaurants from excellant bar chow to gourmet restaurants. Bio Bay is a must on your bucket list. All the people where so helpful and friendly. The beaches amazingly open and pristene, their are so many you can find your own private beach at times. Viva Vieques and Vista Linda.
