Escape the frenetic pace of daily life to a private lakeside cabin surrounded by 2 acres of boreal forest. Just steps to pristine Lake Caribou, truly a place to get away from it all during any of the 4 seasons. Take the kayaks (free for your use) all around Caribou and watch the soaring eagles, rent the pontoon which sits at the dock outside your front door for fishing, swimming or just sun bathing. Walk down the dirt road to find an entrance to the Superior Hiking Trail and walk all the way to Canada! Snow shoeing, cross country or downhill skiing at Lutsen mountain, only 10 minutes away! Enjoy a fabulous dinner at one of the many local restaurants ( we will supply you with a list of guest favorites!) Relax at the end of your day in adorandack chairs with s’mores in front of the lakeside fire pit. Barbecue lakeside or better yet, nap in the hammock.

Our cabin has an open floor plan. The kitchen, livingroom, wood burning fireplace, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are on the main level. There is a loft with a large flat screen tv and whirlpool upstairs. While we try to unplug there is high speed wireless. The cabin is a wonderful multi generational retreat. We are so happy to know that when we can’t be in paradise other people are enjoying everything CASABELLA has to offer.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If Harvey and Cindy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
