Description

Nestled on a ridge between Lake Lure and Chimney Rock Village, Chimney Lure Retreat is close to hiking, rock climbing and spelunking. You will love spending time in this beautifully decorated, like new log cabin located in a quiet, easily accessible paved road that's close to most area attractions.

There are 2 bedrooms and a bonus room on the lower floor set up as a bedroom and a full bath on each floor. Each floor has a covered deck with mountain views. Fully furnished, including linens and towels, including nicely appointed kitchen.

From the many windows in this 2,000 square foot cabin you have year round views of Chimney Rock, the surrounding mountains, a variety of birds (including hummingbirds and wild turkey), and deer. With all the comfy sitting areas and bedrooms, each individual can find their own space for solitude and reflection, then come together in the family room or game room for fun and fellowship.

The game room on the lower floor is a perfect spot for a spirited game of foosball, Karaoke and watching videos – a great hangout for teenagers. There's also a mini ping pong table for smaller kids. The kitchenette makes it easy to prepare popcorn and snacks in the microwave and store drinks in the mini-fridge, and a daybed with trundle provides additional sleeping.

(Does not cover malicious damage or theft.) Sorry, no large parties or events.

“Easy and Comfortable”

It's not on the lake, but the cabin was a great fit for my wife and I and our three boys (7, 10, 13). Plenty of room, every kitchen appliance you could hope for, comfortable beds. Enjoyed the views of Chimney Rock and watching thunderstorms from out on the 3rd floor deck. Bathrooms & showers were in great condition. Game room downstairs was better than we expected, too. Check-in and check-out were super easy. In every way it was a complete no-stress rental. If you're looking for a place near Lake Lure & this one fits your needs, I'd book it and not think twice.

How do damage deposits work?
