“Peaceful holiday escape.”

Reviewed 18 Sep 2021

Well equipped old cottage, nicely looked after and clean, comfortable beds and lovely views over the sea. Need to be reasonably fit for all the lovely walks around and about. Great for dog owners. 2 pubs, tea rooms and fish and chip shop with extended menu all within short walking distance. The cottage is the sort of place you would keep returning to time and again. Special thanks to Carol the key holder for the cream teas on arrival, delicious.

“Warm and cosy retreat”

Reviewed 26 Dec 2019

My husband and I stayed for a few days over the Christmas holidays to visit family in Mortehoe and it was an ideal base. Carol met us with a smile and a freshly made cream tea. There was a Christmas tree and decorations that Carol had provided which was another lovely touch. She also bought us warm, home made mince pies on Christmas morning. The cottage is very homely and comfortable with plenty of storage and the kitchen was well equipped with cutlery, crockery and kitchen gadgets. The bed is very comfy and the views are fabulous. Being able to take the dog was an added bonus.
