Description

An Idyllic Family Chateau at the Centre of the Forests and Valleys of Correze with 10 Bedrooms , 6 Bathrooms, set In 22 Hectares Of Fields And Forests. Approaching the Chateau down the long winding tree lined drive for the first time is like stepping into the past. The Chateau park itself is magnificent with 23 hectares of fields, streams and very old rare trees. The oldest parts of the house date back to the fourteenth century and were built using the granite from the property itself. There are 10 bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms. Each room is luxuriously decorated and filled with antiques. There is an very large tapestry lined salon/drawing room with walk in fireplace, two libraries, dining room and large fully equipped kitchen and pantry. The house has been restored to a very high standard and the rooms are both elegant and comfortable.

Getting around

We recommend that you bring a car however it is not a requirement. The caretaker is available for pick ups and drop offs at train stations, airports, restaurants, tourist attractions and markets at extra charge. We also have 14 bicycles available for rental.There is a charge of €5.00 per bicycle per day. Children Uber the age of 8 are not charged.

Interaction with guest

The caretaker is on site to help with any needs. You can also contact the owner as and when required. Please note that there is a charge of €65.00 per day to heat the residence during cold periods.This is to be paid to the caretaker by the guests upon arrival. The charge includes the 2 days required to heat the residence prior to the arrival of guests.
