Description
This newly renovated cottage is in the great location of Caton, which is a small village that lies in the Borough of Lancaster with close links to local walks, dedicated cycling paths and transport links in to the historic town of Lancaster.
The centre of Caton village is approximately 1 mile from the cottage (15 minute walk), in the village you can find all local amenities that include, a small co-op, two or three pubs (one which serves excellent food), a fuel station, post office and a fly fishery. The cottage is just 2 minutes walk from The River Lune, well known for salmon and sea trout fishing.
Grooms Cottage has been tastefully renovated to a high standard will be your home from home in this scenic and historic corner of Lancashire.

“Grooms cottage - blissful few days”
Lovely clean cottage in excellent location - would thoroughly recommend and stay again. Excellent comms and personal touches by the host. Lovely pubs close by with fab food. We visited both Lake Windermere and Ingleton Waterfall walk/Dales. Great location for both
