Description
We have for rent a cozy cottage (100 fm2) with everything you need for a nice and pleasant stay. It is placed in a beautiful surrounding in the south part of Iceland only 1 hour drive from Reykjavik, with a fantastic view, numerous nearby attractions and short distances to all services.
The house has two bedrooms and a big room on the second floor (loft), beds for 8 people and we can provide travel baby crib.
- Room 1 has 1x 120x200cm bed and 135x195cm sofa bed (fold out bed)
- Room 2 has 1x 160x200cm bed
- Second floor (loft) has 2x 150x200cm beds.
The kitchen is fully equipped, a stove with oven, refrigerator with fridge, dishwasher, toaster, coffee machine and tableware for 12 persons. A nice new BBQ is on the patio. The bathroom has a shower and a washing machine.
The wooden patio is quite big and split in two parts, the smaller one (20 fm2) is closed with glass on sides (no wind) and the bigger one (35 fm2) has a hot tub for 8 persons, garden furnitures and great facilities for sunbathing (when we have some sun in Iceland ?)
Included are blankets, sheets, small towels, dishcloths and rags. For our International guests we also offer bed linen and bath towels for 1.500 ISK pr. person.
Check in time is at 16 pm on Arrival Date and check out time is at 12 pm.
Nearby attractions
The south part of Iceland has been the scene of many events recently and a number of ?you must see in Iceland? is in a short distance from the cottage. The so called Golden Circle (Gullfoss, Geysir, Þingvellir) is only half an hour away, Eyjafjallajokull (the volcano which erupted in 2010) is about an hour away from the cottage. Other nearby attractions are Kerið, Nesjavellir, Laugavatn, Þórsmörk and many many more.
All service is close by the cottage, golf in Kiðjaberg and Öndverðarnes, swimming pools in Minni Borg and Hraunborgum, Jet ski rent on Svínavatni and angling in Apavatni, Laugarvatni, Úlfljótsvatni and Hestvatni.
It only takes 10-12 minutes to drive to the town Selfoss but there are shops and all necessary services.
