Description

BELL ROCK RETREAT (PIKES PEAK OR BUST!) is a great place to vacation in the mountains: enjoy panoramic view of Pikes Peak View, 80 acres of land, babbling West Creek running through the property... Fish without a license all you want on this private property.

There is a smoker and a gas BBQ grill on the deck with a view of Pikes Peak.

There are many different species of wildlife living on and near the retreat, such as deer, elk, bear, fox, geese and ducks. This retreat has often been referred to as a little piece of heaven, a paradise and a romantic retreat. It is located 30 miles from COLORADO SPRINGS,10 mile from WOODLAND PARK , 80 miles from the the beautiful ski resort of Breckenridge and Denver is only an hour and a half away. There are wonderful hiking trails, fishing and over 150 miles of national forest trails through the nearby pike national forest (great ATV and hiking trails).

You can rent ATVs in Woodland Park or take some beautiful trails in the area. Bring your bikes to. You can bike to Manitou Lake nearby to see some red rock formations there and enjoy the lake.

Response from the owner Thank you, Niki for the review. We did have a very unusual weather in July. We never had hail storm in July any previous years since 2000. 4 wheel drive is recommended and stated so in the listing. 4 wheel drive is always a preferred vehicle in the mountains. There are plenty of dishes and all cupboards are full of them. We can bring more. No problem. We always provide 3 rolls of toilet paper, one big roll of paper towel, 3 trash bags, hand soap, dishwashing soap, etc. This is our standard start up supplies. We cannot ask our cleaning lady to bring more. It may not last for 8 nights for 5-6 guests. We are happy to hear that you had a good time over all. You are very good guests. Thank you.
