Description

This is a 1 and half story cabin located on the banks of the north fork of the Kentucky River. Sit on the back porch and watch the river flowing past.There in one full bed on the bottom floor along with a futon and 4 twin beds in the loft area. All bed linens are provided. Small bath with shower.Towels/washcloths included. This cabin does not have kitchen facilities as it has limited solar powered electricity. It is sitting beside the old L & E Railroad bed that was taken up to supple metals for WWll. and in the middle of 4 mowed acres. There is a park type grill, a picnic table, and a small fire-ring, no dishes or cooking utensils are provided. There is an outside water faucet also located near the cabin. You can put your small boat/pontoon into the water in town and ride a short distance upriver to the cabin. This cabin is in a remote, heavily forested area and does REQUIRE a four-wheel drive vehicle. It is, however well worth the 1 mile drive off of the highway. There is a pontoon docked there, rides are available weather & the river permitting. Bring your fishing rods and come visit with us! No TV available.

Pets are welcome but there is a one time only fee of $10 to cover extra cleaning.

Wet linens should be placed in the shower stall for pick up.

Great place to get away from it all. Put our kayaks in the river right at the cabin, good fishing, plenty of places to ride dual sport motorcycles in the area, paved and unpaved.

The cabin is in a great location, we did not have a 4 wheel drive vehicle so the owners helped us a bunch by driving us and our bags down to the cabin and back up to our vehicles in the morning.

How do damage deposits work?
