Description

Gorgeous home in tropical setting, private pool, walled and gated for your privacy. The home has 2 bedrooms, each with their own bath, and a 1/2 bath on the first floor.

This home is located in Lo de Marcos, a quaint, friendly, authentic Mexican village located just 45 min from Puerto Vallarta airport, and 15 min from the tourist town of Sayulita. Lo de Marcos is truly an (almost) undiscovered gem of a town with unspoiled beach, plus boasts excellent restaurants, basic grocery shopping, plus several gift shops to find that cool artifact to bring home!

The pool is listed as unheated, but solar heating was just installed - the pool cleaner gentleman can show you how to turn it on and off, and he speaks English.

The home is surrounded by lush tropical gardens (pick your own bananas!); palm trees and tropical plants surround the lawn and pool area. Outside there is a built-in BBQ, large patio, and sparkling clean pool. Inside the home you will find a fully equipped kitchen with every appliance you can think of, tiled floors, living room and dining room areas. It is beautifully appointed complete with hand painted sinks. The bedrooms are located on the second floor, each it's own 'suite' - great for two couples. The master bedroom has a large balcony over looking the pool, plus a walk-in closet that has a secure metal door for added security for safe keeping of any of your valuables. There are stairs that lead to a third level where you can enjoy panoramic views of the ocean, surrounding mountains, and of course the spectacular sunsets.

Towels, sheets and beach towels are provided.

There is also a washing machine provided for your use, & clothes line for drying of clothes.

The town is a very short walk away - simply walk past one house going towards the beach, go right and the dirt road takes you right to the town square!

From May through October this house is available for rent for no less than a month, as the house is closed up for the hot and rainy season, and it takes a lot to open it for guests.

Response from the owner Thank you Amparo d Valencia for your kind words. The house is on a large piece of property, so it was fun to add more tropical plants every year. And yes, this is a pet friendly home. As the floors are all tiles, it makes for easy cleaning. Our house holds the distinction of holding the first spay/neuter clinic in Lo de Marcos - 89 animals spayed/neutered in 4 days! The clinics have been held at different locations since then, keeping the town cleaner and sanitary with fewer poor homeless dogs. The internet connection is usually high speed with few problems so I am glad Sergio was able to help with any problems. So glad you enjoyed your stay, and hope to have you as a guest again! Since Lo de Marcos is not a touristy town it gives visitors a real sense of being part of the community. The residents are so friendly and welcoming! I see some of the locals surfing sometimes, but Lo de Marcos does not draw the surfing crowd, and is probably better for the paddle board crowd. The south end of the beach is the best area for swimming. Thank you for being wonderful guests, and I would be very happy to have you as guests in the future! Most sincerely,' Karen
