Description

This dog friendly self catering holiday accommodation in the Scottish Highlands is a property which is well loved and used by its owners and consequently has all the little luxury touches that make you feel at home. You'll find the property makes the most of the products that Scotland and Britain can offer. In the well equipped kitchen you'll find a welcome hamper with a small selection of lovely foodie goodies and some Scottish beer! If you need anything else you can indulge in a dram from the honesty bar.

There's an Nespresso coffee machine with a selection of capsules and you can bring your own too if you have a favourite blend! If you need some inspiration in the kitchen there's a selection of Scottish Cookbooks from some great Scottish names like Claire MacDonald and Nick Nairn.

The Highland Coach House master bedroom is spacious and has a super king bed and double ended roll top bath and is adorned with Arran Aromatics products and beautiful candles to help you relax after all those long walks in the glen. You'll find cosy bath robes and slippers in the main bedrooms perfect for curling up in front of the open fire. There's a small DVD library too with a selection of classic films so why not pour yourself a dram and watch Whisky Galore! When it's time for bed you can be rest assured of good sleep when you curl up in bed under the divine duck feather duvets.

The Coach House is situated in an idyllic rural location yet within easy commuting distance of Inverness. Scatwell consists of several converted properties that once belonged to the main house and now consists of a small community surrounded by a beautiful forested area ideal for long walks and cycling with excellent Fishing and Golf nearby. The Coach House forms part of the original residential Scatwell estate in the heart of Strathconnon lying around 6 miles West of the hamlet of Marybank.

The Coach House has a large lounge with a woodburner. The property is decorated in a stylish modern and contemporary boutique style which makes this a very comfortable property which reflects the landscape and nature nearby. The dining kitchen also features an open fire and is complete with a ceramic range cooker, retro fridge freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. On the upper level there are two large double bedrooms and a large shower room. The property sleeps 4 + 2. The master bedroom is furnished with a Superking bed whilst the second bedroom is furnished with two guest beds which can be joined together to make a Superking too or twin if this is the preferred option. There are also two pull out guest beds in the second bedroom.

Bedrooms:
Master bedroom with super king bed and its own double ended roll top bath. Bedroom 2 can be set up as a Super king or Twin bedroom and has two pull out guest beds.

Bathrooms:
Main bathroom recently refurbished with a large shower, wc and marble top vanity unit with wash basin. Note bath is in the master bedroom.

Kitchen:
Well equipped kitchen with ceramic hob range cooker, retro fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave.

Living Rooms:
Beautiful spacious contemporary lounge complete with comfy conran sofas and chairs wood burner and decorated to reflect its location near the River Connon with oars on the wall. Large flat screen Tv with Sky Tv, DVD, Bose iPod dock and honesty bar!

Cleaning/Towels/Linen/Maid service:
Linen and towels provided for four guests. Additional linen available.

Accessibility:
There is no downstairs bathroom and the garden is accessible via steps.

Outside:
Large enclosed raised private wild garden to the side of the property with extra large deck area complete with dining and garden seating and barbecue. Small garden to the front complete with two armchairs. Check out our facebook page for more pictures and recent reviews.

Golf:
Excellent fishing and golf nearby.

Skiing:
Aviemore is 45 mins by car.

How to get there:
Inverness Airport 40 mins

Distances:
Glasgow and Edinburgh 3 1/2 hr by car. Largest 24hr petrol and superstore 15 mins away in Dingwall. Beauly is a 15 min drive. Contin/Rogie Falls - 10 mins drive.

How do damage deposits work?

If ANNE (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
