Casa Raja is a private residence, situated next to (and with beautiful views of) the rice fields of Ubud.

The location of Casa Raja is superb. Walking down the little path that leads to our door, you'll stroll past newly planted rice fields, typical local homes and luxury villas. That's why we love this area! The mix of expat, local and visitor is so perfect.

WHY CASA RAJA?

This is one of the only properties in the popular neighborhood of Penestanan that is set up for the full enjoyment of your family. Most villas in Ubud are surrounded by concrete walls, leaving you feeling a bit trapped. Not here!

LARGE, OPEN PROPERTY

You won't feel closed in on this property. Unlike many villas, our space has a huge garden/play yard that opens to rice field views. It feels expansive! And all of it is viewable from the open air home (with lockable bedrooms).

You'll love feeling the breezes while lounging in the main living area, a covered open air space that includes a living room, Balinese style dining room and brand new kitchen. You can spend hours lounging on the comfy oversized sectional made of woven water hyacinth while the kids splash in the pool.

We are located in the highly sought after and convenient neighborhood of Penestanan - within walking distance to downtown Ubud and among a plethora of restaurants, spas, etc.

Master Bedroom: Queen Bed and Day bed

2nd Bedroom: Bunk beds: Queen on bottom, twin on top.

2 new bathrooms. The master bath has a beautifully tiled shower unit. The kids bathroom has a bathtub/shower combo and the lovely addition of a kids sized sink so the little ones don't have to use a step stool.

Enjoy the comfortable space. The living, dining and kitchen area are open air. The bedrooms and bathroom are fully enclosed, but have large sliding doors that you can leave open at night to breathe in the cool night air of the Bali mountains. We have several fans around the home for your comfort.

We have 3 large green areas that surround the home. A huge side yard (which is rare in Ubud) begs children to play in the bamboo fort or jump on the trampoline, a private blue swimming pool is perfect for a quick cool off and the entry yard makes for a wonderful welcome home.

The yard engages young and old. And we have extensive veggie gardens, banana & fruit trees.

The cultural capital- Ubud- is just a three minute drive or 10 minute walk to center of Ubud.

STAFF INCLUDED:

Our staff of three will make your stay relaxing. We have a housekeeper, cook and night security guard that will take care you. Full, delicious Breakfast included and prepared for you fresh each day!

WIFI INTERNET

There is no public transport in Ubud, but a taxi to town will only cost $3 or less. Or you can simply take a 15 minute stroll and enjoy the sites, stop at the many restaurants and warungs along the way.

Included in your stay is a daily breakfast of local fruit, Bali coffee or tea and your choice of eggs and/or Bali pancakes and toast. If you feel like spending a relaxing day at Casa Raja, you can order lunch or dinner in (most restaurants deliver) OR hire our incredible cook to prepare a meal for you. There are several delicious restaurants within a 2-3 minute walk of Casa Raja. Great pizza, curries, chicken satays, raw food and authentic Indonesian food are just a few steps away.

If all the above resonates with you, then you've found your place in Ubud.

NOTE: There is NO CAR ACCESS to the property. Like most villas in Ubud, we are situated down a path which is plenty wide for motorbikes, but not for cars. We have parking available for motorbikes.

Most visitors simply hire a motorbike or walk.

You will have the entire villa and private grounds for you and your family/group. Pool, private chef for your breakfast needs, large side yard with organic garden and rice field views.
