This delightful, detached 16th century farmhouse is situated within beautiful countryside just three miles from the village of Beguildy, and can sleep ten people in five bedrooms.Maesgwyn is a wonderful, detached farmhouse cottage situated in beautiful Welsh countryside, just over the border from the Shropshire Hills. The cottage can sleep ten people in five bedrooms comprising a king-size double room with an en-suite and two twin rooms on the first floor, a second floor king-size double room, and a cosy ground floor double bedroom housing a 4' foot bed, accessible from one side only. There is a first floor family bathroom, a ground floor shower room, and a ground floor WC for added convenience. Make use of the well-equipped kitchen boasting two ovens, a 5-ring hob, and a social dining area. There is a sitting room with a woodburning stove, a separate snug for five, and outside, a front patio with furniture, a barbecue, and a luxurious hot tub. There is also ample off road parking, truly making Maesgwyn the perfect retreat for friends and families exploring this glorious region, all year round! Please Note: Although this property does accept short breaks outside of the school holidays, they must fall within Friday-Monday or Monday-Friday period.

Electric range cooker with double oven, warming oven and grill, 5-ring hob with warming plate, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with FreeSat, DVD, CD, radio, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Two travel cots, highchair and stairgate on request. Ample off road parking. Front and side patio with hot tub, furniture and BBQ. Four well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub/restaurant 5 miles. Note: During busy times farm machinery passes by the front of the property. Note: The front patio is not enclosed, dogs and children must be supervised. Please note that charging of electric cars is not permitted at this property
Region: Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
Town: The small village of Beguildy sits amongst peaceful countryside on the edge of the Welsh/English border. Surrounded by green landscapes, the village hosts a public house serving good food, a shop and a Post Office for daily essentials. There is fantastic access for those who wish to explore Beacon Hill, plus a 5 mile route for keen horse riders can be reached on the nearby, beautiful Glyndwr's Way National Trail. A wonderful base for exploring mid Wales and the Shropshire Hills.
