Description

Large luxurious suite sleeps 1 to 4 very comfortably. Ideal location near downtown Calgary and the University with access to Rocky Mountains, Calgary Stampede and natural areas. Hosts are determined to make your stay the best possible.

Bedroom, living room, full bath and storage area. Nine foot ceilings.

The suite has a bedroom (12 Sq meters) with queen size sleigh bed, highest quality mattress; full bathroom with tub/shower; large living area (30 Sq meters) with your own TV and additional queen size mattress (if your party needs it); and storage room with small fridge for you to keep luggage and food.

Your suite has its own gas fireplace to keep you cozy in winter. But, this is Canada; do not expect the room to feel like Hawaii.

We provide highest quality linens, bedding, flannel sheets in winter, 4 star hotel quality towels, shampoo and toiletries.

Your Calgary Home has hard wired CO2 detectors and smoke detectors with battery back-up on each floor. Newly upgraded and replaced Spring 2014. Tested monthly. ABCD rated fire extinguishers on each floor. Your suite, since it is on a lower floor, has three barred emergency window exits. Additionally you will receive detailed emergency contact and procedure information.

Flood note: during the June 2013 Calgary floods Your Calgary Home was not evacuated and not affected. Even though we are very close to the Bow River we suffered no damage. We offered a safe place to stay and our guests volunteered on restoration crews.

Keyless entry. You will have your own private code for the duration of your stay. No hassles with lost keys, complicated check-in or check-out. Your Calgary Home is in a safe neighborhood, but crime is crime, so Your Calgary Home has upgraded security doors, windows and monitoring.

Your suite is self-contained and private but you share the home with your hosts, Keith and Yoshiko. Your host is a professional sommelier and a semi-professional chef. We can do a wine exchange, meal exchange or just find about the cuisine of your culture. Or, if you wish to be left alone, that is fine too.

Your hostess is an award winning gardener and trained accomplished flower arranger. Your home will be filled with fresh flowers, changed weekly.

No smokers and no smoking. Absolutely no smoking, drugs or partying on the property. No perfumes or scented products, please.

Don't ask for a discount. If you are looking for a cheap place to crash you will find it, but not here.

Absolutely no eating or drinking in your bedroom. Enjoy meals in the dining room or kitchenette or living room or on the back porch.

We do NOT have bed bugs and never have, because of our extensive prevention program. Make sure wherever you stay in Calgary has a thorough bed bug prevention program.

Certain areas of Calgary are experiencing a serious and increasing rise in the cases of bed bugs. In planning your visit to Calgary you would be wise to consider this. Alberta is the only inhabited place on the planet without rats. Alberta also does not have termites, fleas or cockroaches. But Calgary has bed bugs.

In our home we go to extraordinary lengths to prevent bed bug infestation. It is very difficult to get rid of bed bugs so we are deeply committed to safe, non toxic methods of prevention. Before you rent any place enquire as to their bed bug prevention program.

How do damage deposits work?

If Keith (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
