Description

The ‘Homestead’ is located in Historic Grand Lake Village. This cozy log cabin is the perfect Colorado family vacation or a romantic getaway. Known as the 'Western Gateway' to Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Lake is Colorado's largest natural lake. The village with its old west buildings and historic boardwalk will make you feel as though you stepped back in time.

The log cabin with its “gone by era rustic charm exterior” gives way to a beautifully decorated interior with all the modern amenities. Its two bedroom two bath, fully equipped kitchen, laundry, wood stove, satellite TV and internet, makes a great vacation for a family of 6 or a couple on a romantic getaway.

Imagine in the summer/fall enjoy a morning cup of coffee out on the deck around the fire table as you watch the sunrise over the mountains or warming up to the wood stove after returning from a day of snowmobiling.

Take a short walk to the historic Grand Lake Village where you will find restaurants, bars and quaint stores. Continue your walk to the sandy beach, dip your toes in the water or sit and watch the beautiful sail boats glide across the deep blue lake. No matter what season it is, Grand Lake Colorado has an abundance of activities year round.

In Grand Lake you will find activities for everyone; Access snowmobile trails directly from the cabin in the winter. Horseback riding, kayaking, golfing, mountain biking, hiking, live theater, and much more. Rocky Mountain National Park offers miles of hiking and skiing trails.
