The Pipe House began as a dream, an elusive essence that guides our hearts.

Conceived with one goal in mind, The Pipe House is designed for living the beach experience to the fullest. Costa Rica has some of the most beautiful beaches around the world to offer, and Playa Grande stands out of the rest. Blessed by marvelous sunsets, white sands and world class surfing, Playa Grande combines great food, outdoor activities and relaxation into a perfect mix for anyone.

The Pipe House is a unique place to visit only steps from the beach. Located within a gated community the six bedrooms that make the house are built entirely by hand within recycled concrete pipes, offering a cozy and artistic design. Complementing the six bedrooms there are four bathrooms divided in two separate areas . The ranch area hosts an open living room and a fully equipped kitchen. Sitting under two trees called "Matapalo" the ranch is always cool and shady even in the BBQ area. With outdoor living in mind, relaxing at The Pipe House is easy as the sound of the breaking waves and the singing birds tune in a non-stop natural melody. Monkeys, squirrels, iguanas, parrots and many other animals can be seen regularly either eating off our mango and guayaba trees or chewing into the coconuts in the property.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Felipe (the owner) a message.

If Felipe (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
