Description

Tanar View is a delightful self catering apartment located within the stunning Glen Tanar estate in Royal Deeside, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. WIth a small deck to sit out and enjoy the uninterrupted views to the hills and mountains in summer, and a wood burning stove to keep you warm and cosy in winter, this lovely accommodation is perfect for any time of year.
The apartment is perfectly located for those fishing the river Dee, stalking at Glen Tanar, ski-ing, walking, cycling or simply enjoying the rural tranquility of the area. Wildlife is in abundance with red and roe deer, hares. bats and a variety of wonderful birds all around.
Located down a rural track yet only a five minute drive from the nearest small town means that eating in or out is easy and we are always happy to help with bookings etc. Whisky distilleries, castles and many interesting places to visit are easily accessible and, of course, Balmoral is only 20 minutes away.
The apartment offers comfortable accommodation for four with a double bedroom and a second bedroom with adult sized bunk beds. The living area is bright and spacious with a dining table and a well equipped kitchen. A flat screen TV, Ipod docking station and free Wifi are also provided as well as CDs, DVDs and board games. A shower room is located off of the hallway. Dogs are welcome by arrangement.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If Liz (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
