Description

SANITIZED ACCOMODATION AT EACH ARRIVAL.

The three-level apartment is situated on the second floor (no elevator) of a building characteristic of Palermo's old town, next to the Church of San Giovanni at Origlione of the 17th century. You can admire the facade and the Bell Tower by one of the two terraces of the House. From the entrance room, furnished with sitting area and ancient pottery, you access the wooden staircase leading to the second level, where are the dining room and living with piano and 46 inch tv where guests can enjoy moments of pure relaxation. Refined furnishings, parquet flooring, majolica by characteristic Sicilian motifs give personality and warmth to all environments. Adjacent to the dining room and the living room there is a large terrace with table and barbecue for unforgettable lunches and dinners in the open air.

This floor also includes the comfortable kitchen, a second small dining room with table and refrigerator, a double bedroom with en suite bathroom (with shower), a main bathroom with bathtube.

Going up to the third level of the apartment there is a spacious and bright room with mansard roof and wooden beams, furnished with sitting area, tv, stereo and sofa, double bed and ancient cradle for babies, bathroom with shower and laundry facilities. From here you access the second terrace with unique view over the rooftops of the old town, where you can see the spires of the Arab-Norman Cathedral, symbol of the city.

The apartment is equipped with air conditioners (in winter they can be used to heat the house). It is possible to provide a cot and a high chair. Given the presence of stairs inside the house, children up to 9 years are not allowed.

The house is equipped with heat pumps that can be used in winter as heating. Heating by boiler is allowed only on request and has an extra cost of € 40.00 per day.

It's about 1.5 km from the railway station and the bus station, where there are all the connection to get the airport of Palermo and Trapani, and the main tourist areas on the outskirts of Palermo and Trapani.

Response from the owner Dear Daniela, I'm sorry about your bad personal experience at Origlione House, Absolutely this is the first time of a such bad judgment! Anyway, I'm almost sure you haven't read my description of the house in the listing before booking. If you would have read it, you would have noted that most of the points you underlined as negative, are written: 1 - 2. The flat can be heated by heater pumps, if you use the gas bottle you have to pay extra (this is because it is very expensive, more than electricity). 3. It is written that the house is at the second level without elevator and the rooms in the apartment are on three levels... Obviously there are stairs, if you don't want to go up and down maybe you could choose another house with elevator. 4. I'm used to refuse requests of guests with little children, anyway I can't flag a field of the age of my guests. Obviously it is not a house suitable for people with handicap (it is flagged). 5. I change bed linen and towels on regular basis, so they can't be "more than old" even not new (but always very well cleaned). 6. Showers are normal size and there is even a jacuzzi bath tube. 7.no comment regarding your opinion on furniture (but a curiosity, did you see the pictures of the listing?) 8.In the list you can see the location information .. Ballarò market is an important point of interest for many tourists, and anyway, about your concerns, I always give to my guests many and many local information (which you did not want to have because you were in a hurry and because you already knew everything about Palermo) this just in order to avoid unpleasant experiences that in fact have never happened.
