A lovely ground floor apartment in one of Ripon,s grade two listed buildings in the heart of the town. Lovingly restored, this first-class ground floor apartment has been individually styled and finished to provide quality accommodation. Split on two levels, this accommodation is predominately Open Plan and features on the lower level a spacious living area with Large Sofa and Dinning area. Up the stairs ( three in all) and you will find a spacious Well equipped kitchen ( Coffee,Tea,Hot Chocolate,Milk,Sugar,Bread,butter, Orange Juice & Eggs are all supplied) and a lovely modern bathroom. A bedroom with Kingsize Bed adjoins the lower ground floor and second adjoining bedroom with a Triple bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom & single on top, also adjoins off the Sitting room . Because we care about your upmost comfort, our Bedrooms are fitted with Quadruple Glazed windows for your optimum nights sleep!
Outside there is a pretty shared courtyard garden ( shared with the upstairs apartment) and private secure parking & a bike rack.
Please note: we have a Private Car Park for both Holiday Apartments!
For Larger parties of 10 people both Apartments, Cathedral Way & Cathedral Mews can be Let together!
Travel Cot and Highchair available on request.
N.B. Ripon is a super Dog Friendly City, with most Cafes welcoming Pets. Your `Furry Friend is very welcome, at a fee of £15 per Pet . Please let us know if you intend to bring your Pet with you and we can amend the booking accordingly. Could we also kindly ask that pets not be allowed on the furniture. Thank you .

In a word, WOW! From the second I booked for me and my two children, the communication with Karen couldn't have been more immediate or more helpful. On the day we arrived, Karen let us park up even though we were several hours before official "check in" and, as we explored the town, she called us the second the cottage was ready. As soon as we entered the immaculately clean cottage, we knew it was going to be a home from home for the next few days and we weren't wrong. The split level cottage itself was the perfect size for the three of us with light, clean bedrooms that both had gorgeous comfy beds (mine was huge!) and bedding so soft I've had to purchase the same Night Owl duvets for home. The kitchen had everything we could need including a Dolce Gusto machine (without which I may have had withdrawal symptoms from my own). Karen left us a wonderful welcome pack which included bread, butter, orange juice, porridge, sweets and freshly laid eggs from her own hens. Karen also ensured there was ice cubes in the freezer ready for my G&T. The living area of the cottage is fantastic with lots of room (although there were several arguments about who got to use the fabulous cuddle chair) and there are several little nooks for relaxing with a good book (or that G&T). If relaxing outdoors is more your thing then there is a beautiful private courtyard right outside the door with different seating areas, table, chairs and parasol and even a BBQ. Despite being right in the heart of Ripon (you are literally a one minute walk from the market square), the courtyard is lovely and quiet and the perfect place to enjoy a peaceful morning coffee in the sun. The bathroom is a great size as well as clean and equipped with all the basics you need. We all loved diving into the brilliant powe shower after a busy day before chilling in front of the smart TV or playing games at the dining table. Karen also provides a great library of books and DVDs as well as loads of information and brochures for local attractions. The little touches like the welcome pack, helpful information and the sewing kit which came in very handy when my eldest split his trousers, as well as the gorgeous decor, make this cottage a real gem and, as if all that wasn't enough, compared to many of the properties we looked at in the centre of Ripon, Karen's prices are excellent value for money. My youngest son didn't want to leave Cathedral Mews on our final morning and, in all honesty, I totally understand why.

“Perfect cozy central stay”
Great stay in a great location, lovely scenic surrounding area, perfect for walks! The apartment was spacious, cozy and had a great central living area, would highly recommend staying here!
“Perfect bolthole in Ripon Centre .”
Stayed here for 4 nights. Our party consisted of four adults and two children (ages 5 and 20 months). Very quaint and quirky 2 bedroomed apartment on the ground floor of a listed building. ( there was a 3 bedroomed apartment above us). Split level accommodation consisting of a bathroom with bath and over the bath shower, toilet and wash basin. Well equipped kitchen with oven, hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Plenty of towels, crockery, and cooking equipment along with thoughtful touches like foil, cling film, dolce gusto coffee machine, individual packets of biscuits, sugar and freshly laid eggs! There was a small dining area which accommodated us all and various chairs, cushions and seating areas together with a large corner unit bed/ settee. Large TV and lots of DVDs together with reading materials about local places and books. One bedroom consisted of a double bed with a single bunk bed above it. Not a lot of space but some hanging hooks and drawers. Second bedroom had a super king size bed, wardrobe and drawers. Plenty of pillows, bedding and towels provided. My grandson had his travelcot outside the large bedroom in a porch area ( not room for this in either bedroom). The apartment was cool in the hot weather we had and outside there was a yard area with a table and chairs and an outer area for parking cars with secure gates. Everything was spotlessly clean. Two minutes walk to the lovely market town with it’s shops and places to eat. Entrance was by key code. We felt safe here during the crazy time we are living in and would certainly recommend it.
