Our comfortable and well equipped, south facing, one bedroomed apartment is located in the region of Chlorakas and is only a short bus or car ride to Paphos centre, yet away from all the hustle and bustle. It takes a 20 minute walk to the beach and is ideal for walking via the coastal path to Paphos harbour. The apartment houses a comprehensive range of kitchen appliances, an additional pull-out double sofa bed in the lounge and the television incorporates a DVD player and UKTV from a media player. All bedding and bath towels are provided for your stay. It’s south facing aspect means it’s ideal for capturing the sun from dawn to dusk, perfect for the winter. The complex incorporates a stunning large free-form swimming pool and is ideal for long swims or just lounging on an inflatable. It's complete with a BBQ and pool loungers for total relaxation. Ideally a car is recommended to view the surrounding area and is only a 20 minute drive from the airport from which cars can be hired. Rates are highly competitive and long stay vacations are negotiable throughout the season. All electricity, water and Aircon is included. Wifi is available at a standard 6mg download speed and can be increased for a small fee. A HDMI cable is there if you wish to connect your smart phone/tablet to TV.(adapter required)

Getting around

We have an excellent bus service to Paphos Harbour from the coastal road and from the Chlorakas Village there is a bus service going through the old town of Paphos. It is recommended that you hire a car from the airport prior to arrival, as this is the most convenient and cost effective way of hiring a car.

Interaction with guest

Access codes and details regarding the apartment keys are emailed on final payment. You can email/telephone us with any problems during your stay. Our cleaner is also contactable and her details are in the apartment, along with maps, sightseeing details etc.

Lovely apartment. Instructions from owners easy to follow. Sun on balcony all day. Good UK TV. Didnt use the pool but it looked fine. Would definitely book this apartment again.

I come to cyprus every year in january and always stay in a diffrent village in paphos but this year 2019 i couldnt fault the village of chloraka the apartment it was lovley and had a lovley sea view from balcony.the owners jon and haze are very helpful too if i needed anything.the area it self was lovley too peace and quite if you are looking for a more relaxing holiday but not too far from shops ect but stayin in a village like most places in cyprus its best to hire a car to get around like we always do. but then saying that there was buses not far from apartment too.cyprus is my second home and will be returning nxt year like i do and will defintly be going back to chloraka to stay and would love to book the same apartment as well.thank you jon and haze once again.

Response from the owner We have already outlined a response to your partner, and once again we are sorry that our apartment did not live up to your expectations. Our apartment is affordable, comfortable, is in a quiet location away from the pool area and outside of Paphos town on the way to Coral Bay. It is located on the first floor giving views down the valley to the sea beyond and yes, you will see the rooftops. The apartment is also south facing offering sunshine from dawn to dusk. For a one bedroom apartment, the outside balcony covers the lounge and bedroom area – a lot bigger than some one bedroom apartments we have seen in Cyprus. Inside the apartment we have tried to make it to feel homely, albeit not to everyones taste, as noted in your case. May we also point out that we do not charge extra for UK TV, broadband and most importantly the air con, which in the summer months can be very expensive to run. Once again, regarding the issue about the pool and umbrella, we have already given the management report to your partner. Both of your comments were addressed and noted for future reference.

Response from the owner We have taken on-board your complaints and are sorry you were disappointed, but all problems were looked into as soon as we were informed. We encourage our guests to contact us immediately – our contact details are in the apartment - should there be any breakages or problems with the apartment so that we can deal with it as soon as possible. Regarding the air con, you didn’t contact us and instead waited 3 days trying to contact our cleaner. The air con was fixed within 12 hours of us being informed. We forwarded your complaint about the pool immediately to the Management Committee who service the pool and grounds and on inspection they found no major faults and the water was clear for swimming. This report was also sent on to you. We were informed that the filter pumps were also working during your stay, but as villas being built nearby, dust can accumulate in the pool area. The broken umbrella was destined for the skip and was placed away from the pool area, but someone must have put it back. Our apartment is for two people and we had four patio chairs in the storage wells on the balcony at the time of your stay, the spare broken chair would have been removed after your stay. The team who service our apartment reported no breakages to us before your arrival, but this will certainly be looked into and we do appreciate your feedback. Similarly, no food is left in the apartment when guests leave which could attract ants. Again, we are sorry you were disappointed, but most problems were either addressed as soon as we were informed of them or were the responsibility of the Management Committee. We have kept all your emails, along with our prompt and polite replies, for future reference.
