Ocean Front Cottage on Scenic Long Beach - Cape Ann, MA

Ocean front-row cottage has a 270-degree ocean front view and is the last house facing east on the boardwalk of beautiful & sandy Long Beach. Location allows full views of the twin lighthouses of Rockport and the Cape Hedge Beach to the east, all of Long Beach and Bass Rocks to the west, a large salt marsh to the north, and open ocean to the south. Proximity to the tidal creek, marsh, and the rocky point of Cape Hedge provides numerous safe activities for kids. This is the best location on the beach!

Two-story cottage built new in 2009 comfortably sleeps 8 people in four bedrooms (one on the first floor and three on second floor) plus space for 2 more using pull-out bed available in the living area. Cottage contains 2 full baths (one on each floor), front screened-in sunroom, gas heat, bay windows overlooking the ocean, skylights, large vaulted-ceiling living area, ceiling fans in bedrooms, dishwasher, washer/dryer, TV with cable, WiFi, gas range, microwave, a gas outdoor grill, and outdoor shower. Large decks on the front and back offer breath-taking scenic views of the entire area. Parking is available in back with room for your paddle board or kayak, which can be launched from the creek behind.

The cottage is a 1-hour drive north of Boston and a 3-mile drive from the train stations at either Gloucester or Rockport, MA

Cottage is about 3 miles to either the Gloucester or Rockport commuter rail stations. Whether you arrive via plane from Boston or drive, the train is a useful way to do a day trip to Boston or to head north to New Hampshire.

3. This is a family home and beach setting: no large parties. Quiet hours after 10pm.
4. Absolutely NO pets of any kind are allowed.
5. Guests are responsible to wash/dry linens and leave the cottage reasonably neat. Additional fees will be incurred if it is a mess.
6. You must separate trash, paper and plastic/glass/metal into bins provided. Failure will result in $100 deducted from deposit.
