Description

Coopers Cottages are a luxury new conversion of farm buildings and stables opening for their first season in May 2015. They are located in the lovely village of Bodiam situated at the top of a hill on a working farm with stunning views over our vineyards.

The 4 cottages, which can be rented individually or as a group sleeping between 2 – 18 people, consist of:

1 x 4 bedroom – sleeping 8;

2 x 2 bedroom – each sleeping 4; and

1 x 1 bedroom – sleeping 4

ELECTRIC CHARGE PIOINT AVAILABLE ON SITE.

They are beautifully designed and furnished to a high standard. Each cottage has a spacious open plan kitchen dining and living area, its own furnished patio, to the front and rear so the sun can be enjoyed throughout the day, and a large communal garden. They are very well equipped with cooking utensils, dishwashers, washing machine, microwaves, irons, hairdryers, toiletries, Wi-Fi, Freeview, under floor heating, BBQs, travel cots and high chairs etc and all have luxury bed linen and towels. They are a home from home. There is ample parking at the front of the property for all guests.

There is a large play area next to the cottages exclusively for guests staying with us, with swings, slides and tyres to climb, also goal posts so bring your football !!!

Many public footpaths can be accessed directly from the cottages and our guests are welcome to explore the private vineyards. The lovely local (dog friendly) pub - The Castle – which is in walking distance, offers an extensive breakfast, lunch and evening menu. The Castle also offer our guests a take away menu which can be ordered directly with them requiring just 24 hours notice. Also within walking distance is the KESR Steam Railway and the stunning historic Bodiam Castle.

“Quiet, relaxing, escape to the country”

Beautiful location and just a short walk though the vineyards to Bodiam village. Rye, Sissinghurst Castle and Camber Sands within easy reach. Well equipped cottage, clean and bright surroundings providing a relaxing environment following a days exertions. Patio to the front and back to make full use of the morning and evening sun. Terrie is both friendly, helpful and the freshly baked cake on our arrival was a welcome treat. Wish our stay could have been for longer and would certainly like to do a return visit.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
