Description

Ultra luxury, ultra unique, one bedroom, one bath cottage. Great location on quiet residential dead end street with duck and fish pond at end of street about 200 yards away. From the house enjoy strolling down to the duck pond to feed the ducks, fish or many turtles. Lots of large majestic Georgia oak trees and palm trees on the property and street. Just added, an outdoor shower! Wash off the beach using the outdoor shower. The location of this cottage is ideal being 1 1/2 miles from the beach and pier / light house and 1 mile from Sea Island. Also, very close to Harris Teeter, movie theater, great restaurants and shopping. Makes it perfect to ride bikes anywhere (bike path is less than 100 yards from cottage and goes all around the island). Cottage is approx. 850 sq feet including a full kitchen with microwave, stove, full refrig, dishwasher and keureg one cup coffee maker. A washer and dryer is available so you can do laundry on site. Cathedral ceiling with wood beams make this cottage exceptionally coastal elegant through out. Hardwood floors throughout exude luxury. Large main living area with flat screen TV and breakfast table that is open to the glass top dining table and custom built in corner bench seating makes for a very relaxed environment. The master bed room is behind the yellow sliding barn door and has room for two and also has a flat screen TV. The bedroom is tastefully decorated in beach style. Off the master bedroom is a spacious spa bathroom. The design of the walk-in shower was taken from the Sea Island Club Spa. It has a special shower head that produces exceptional water volume and is like showering in a spa. Its like nothing you have ever experienced. The floor and shower are natural stone and the shower has multiple patterns. We just put in a new sofa that has a queen memory foam mattress. Counting the pullout sofa bed and the master bedroom the cottage comfortably sleeps four guests. Kitchen is fully stocked with plates, cups, silver ware and items needed for cooking. A sampling of coffee pods are provided for your morning coffee enjoyment. Coffee can be enjoyed inside or outside on the spacious deck or below on the just completed stone patio. The cottage will make you feel like you are in the tree tops with the good high views. We will gladly provide you with restaurant recommendations, directions and island activities that only locals know about. We are confident that you will be pleased with your stay in our island cottage and we hope you will want to stay with us every time you visit Saint Simon's Island. If the cottage is not available for your dates, we also have three gated condos with pools and two houses that we also vacation rent. There is also a five bedroom house on the property that we vaca rent. So if you have a large family you could rent one or both. The house sleeps nine. How do damage deposits work?

If Thomas (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
