Description
Hickory Point sits on one of the most beautiful lots on Smith Mountain Lake. This six bedroom, four and one half bath home sits on an almost flat point lot on the main channel with wide open water views the sunrise on one side and the sunset on the other. The yard is great for picnics, relaxing, a croquet match, horseshoes or sitting by the fire pit. There are two bedrooms on the main level and a very large master bedroom (with flat screen TV) that each walk out to the large deck, and a fourth bedroom with two twin beds. There are two bedrooms downstairs, one of which walks out to the lower patio & the other with four twin beds. The upper level consists of a large family room with fully equipped kitchen and dining area with lots of windows providing wonderful lake views and access to the deck with large picnic table. On the lower level, there is a second fully equipped kitchen, dining area, family room with TV, and utility/laundry room. Provided for your entertainment (Use at your own risk) is a kayak, canoe, and access to your own tennis court. There is a stationary dock to tie up a boat and for swimming. Fifty Minutes from Roanoke and within 1-2 hours of many Colleges. Roanoke and Lynchburg are 1 hour away.

“Best vacation yet!”
Fantastic place for our family getaway! From the dock to the expansive yard for games, we could not have asked for more. Plenty of room on the house for everyone. Would definitely stay here again.

Response from the owner Thank you for your input. A new water softener system was installed in August. This has dramatically reduced the iron/rust in the system. There is no penny smell any longer and the taste of the water is very good. New microwave installed in the upstairs kitchen. We are continually replacing bedding, furniture, and appliances. Hickory Point is a large house with a big lot. We encourage input from our guests to make your stay better.
