Description
Bay View is a split level semi detached house with a large lounge, kitchen/diner with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave etc. The master bedroom has a 6ft bed (can be split into two 3ft beds) and a second bedroom with bunk beds with a family bathroom with a large shower, wc and hand basin.
Gas central heating throughout, freeview TV, and DVD player
There are off road parking space on the front drive, a patio at the rear,
2 Minutes drive to the M4 junction 43
5 Minutes drive to Neath
10 Minutes drive to Swansea
20 Minutes drive to the Gower
30 Minutes drive to Cardiff
35 Minutes drive to Breacon National park.

“Very positively surprised, really good condition for the price”
After reading the previous comments, I was a bit suspicious when booking the accommodation. Even on the way to Bayview, I told my husband, please do not expect a lot. I want to have a space to work and a comfy bed to sleep in so we can all enjoy our holiday. WiFi works very well. Even when I presented on Zoom, sharing my screen while my family used WiFi to watch movies, all was working well. Maybe I should think about renting a car next time as with TFL London I took for granted easy commuting everywhere and proper selection of Just Eat, but that's more my city mouse lifestyle rather than accommodation problem. This is a good place for someone who doesn't need a garden and spend most of the days next to the seaside. All of the things inside are working well, and the place can be a nice stay for a week or two.

“Bayview”
A lovely clean and cosy house. Ideally situated for our stay. This is the second time that we have stayed in bay view. Absolutely perfect for bringing my parents with us from Cornwall to visit our Welsh families.we are originally from Wales and my mother grew up and went to school in skewen. Thankyou so much to Wayne D. We could contact him anytime before and during our stay and nothing was to much trouble.

Nice house, comfortable, homely, and good value for money. Our 3 year old didn’t want to leave, child friendly. Owner was very responsive in email exchanges, made the whole booking process very easy

“Central spot, but the house needs maintenance”
We were a bit disappointed in the house. It needs maintenance in several places (the windows are put in very sloppy, the stuff between the bathroom tiles falls out, the carpeting is old, doors won't shut, ..), lots of spiders that kept coming back, garbage pilling up at the front entrance, sigaret end lying around outside. It just didn't give a good impression. The owner came and cleaned up a bit when we reported it, that was good. Also the pictures show two nice looking bedrooms, but it turned out to be two picture of the big bedroom only with other bedding. The second bedroom is a small one with bunkbeds. A bit misleading, although the describtion does mention the bunkbeds. It is also a pity that you cannot sit on the lawn at the back, as it is not flat. The kitchenappliences are fine, the big bed was great.

Response from the owner I'm shocked at this review as I visited twice during your stay and you were all smiles and mentioned coming back next year. If you'd brought these concerns to me at the time I would have addressed them immediately, sometimes our cleaning/maintenance staff do miss the occasional issues and unless they get reported by yourselves we cannot fix them. I apologise again for the animal breaking your rubbish bag. Wayne
