The Lazy Raven is a roomy, comfortable, modern, fully-equipped and completely private 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment in a prime downtown Anchorage location. Short walk to all downtown attractions -- we are only 5 blocks from the center of downtown Anchorage. Set in a quiet residential neighborhood, surrounded by parks. No one else lives in the building -- my guests have complete privacy.

Spacious 1,000 sq. ft (93 sq. meters) with large kitchen, dining and living area, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath (shower), washer and dryer. Large flat-screen TV, cable, dedicated high speed Wi-Fi. Fully equipped, very comfortable. South facing -- gorgeous sunlight.

One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has one full and one twin. The living room additionally has a La-Z-Boy queen sleeper sofa. Sleeps 7 total. Great for a family or couples traveling together. Also extremely suitable for traveling professionals who want to be walking distance to downtown Anchorage.

We are very kid friendly! The apartment includes a port-a-crib, high chair, big bin of toys for little ones, and children's books. There are multiple parks and playgrounds within a few blocks.

Large flat-screen TV, cable, high speed wifi internet. Includes all linens, towels, silverware, plates, pots and pans, knife set, etc. Also includes basic toiletries, laundry detergent, iron and iron board, hair dryer, and many other everyday necessities.

Includes dedicated private off-street parking and a deck where you can sit outside.

Every guest gets:

1. Breakfast Package: Eggs, milk, juice, bread, cold and hot cereal, cookies, butter, coffee, assorted teas, sweeteners, and more.

2. Bottle of red wine (I'll happily substitute white wine or beer upon request).

3. My personally written guide to the best things to see and do in Anchorage, as well as the best places to eat, for every taste, every budget.

4. As much help as you might like planning your trip and deciding what to see in Alaska. I've lived in Alaska nearly 30 years - I know where to go and where not to go.

I can also provide use of bikes and outdoor equipment.

Getting around

You can walk to all of downtown Anchorage, but I recommend having a rental car because there is so much to see in, around and near Anchorage, and throughout Southcentral Alaska.

My listing says no pets, but I'll make exceptions on a case-by-case basis. Please inquire. But no pets of any kind for any reason without explicit advance notice AND permission. And no cats.

If you need an early check-in or late check-out, just ask. I'll accommodate you if possible.

We are cannabis-friendly, but please smoke outside.

If Paul (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
