Come with high expectations; not only a vacation but an experience. Each room has unobstructed water view. Full deck along rear of home in 21 home gated enclave. Large, uncrowded pool, tennis, sport ct., bathhouse

Only 250 steps from house to toes in the sand.

With 3,300 square feet of space you have large, light filled gathering areas, spacious bedrooms (including two masters) and quiet nooks for reading, napping or attempting the simple art of personal conversation.

For the water oriented, the pool is never crowded. With the community comprised of only 21 homes and most non-rental, the community amenities await your personal enjoyment.

Bring your kayak and launch from the community - which is surrounded on three sides by state park.

Runners and bikers will enjoy the flat, wide areas that can take you into Bethany or north to Dewey Beach.

Anybody say food? The Indian River Marina is less than a mile away. Purchase fresh caught fish from the dock and have it filleted while you wait. Bring it back home and find the greatest excuse to turn the oversized kitchen and bayfront deck with grill into the perfect happy hour.

We provide all disposables (paper towels, t-paper, trash bags, detergents) so you bring less and take much less home. Great gourmet kitchen and Weber grill with lots of propane for the foodies and those who believe the kitchen is a prime gathering place (not to mention happy hour). Bethany is known as the "Quiet Resort" but Rehoboth and Ocean City are a few (7) miles away for tons of casual dining experience and outlet shopping.. The home is very functional for multi-generational gathering with a first floor master. Younger children will enjoy the commercial grade internet (streaming and gaming) and parents will appreciate the natural lagoon across the street hosting all kinds of aquatic and bird wildlife (live, not on a screen).

Although professionally cleaned prior to new Guests' arriving, we are personally there to inspect and clean behind them (if needed) and assure there are no upfront disappointments (e.g. small repairs). We know that by Labor Day, the houses have supported a number of families throughout the season and we try to make certain the house meets the same level of expectation at the beginning as well as at the end of season. After all, a vacation should be memorable for all the right reasons.
