Description
The apartment is spread over several levels, has kitchen, bathroom and two double sofa beds. Characteristic terrace with views over the rooftops of the historic centre of Catania and the Harbor, where a King is his Majesty The Etna.
The strategic location allows you to visit on foot the most important monuments of the city. Walking 10 minutes you reach ' the fish ', historical fish market, Piazza Duomo and Via Etnea.
Catania is famous for its Baroque, which like the Etna was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site, and for its nightlife that throughout the year, thanks to the mild climate, crowded the premises of the old town.
In February, and in particular on days 3, 4 and 5 the city of Catania is abuzz for the hugely popular festa di Sant'Agata, the world's third largest religious festival, after the Holy week of Seville and the feast of Corpus Christi by Guzco in Peru, for the number of people that involves and attracts. An opportunity to get to know the city of Catania with ' festive ' dress.
The apartment is well connected thanks to the possibility to easily reach the main intermodal transport nodes of the city: port, airport and Central station.
Just a few metres away you will find the stops and the terminus of the urban and suburban bus (Taormina, Palermo, Ragusa, Siracusa).
The port, located just in front of the apartment, you can embark on ships leaving for Naples.
The playa with its bathing facilities can be easily reached on foot or by bus.
