West Strand Terrace is a superbly appointed Townhouse situated on the West Strand in Portrush. Accommodation is on 3 floors, sleeping up to 10. There is private parking. Small enclosed private garden (locked shed for owner use only).

We are 3-minute walk from Dhu Varren train station. The property is situated with direct access (75m) to promenade and West Strand Beach (lifeguard patrolled in season) and costal pathway.

It is 5 minutes' walk to town centre, harbour, restaurants and bars (so no need to drive or order taxis).

Ideally situated for cycling, walking and exploring the Causeway Coast, including the Giant's Causeway, Bushmill's Distillery and Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. View the amazing backdrop to the Game of Thrones including Mussenden Temple, Downhill Beach, Dunluce Castle, Portstewart Strand, Ballintoy Harbour and the Dark Hedges. Four golf courses are located within 3 miles, catering for all levels of expertise.

-Surf lessons and kayaking available on West Strand Beach.

Getting around

Catch the train at Dhu Varren, 3 minutes walk from the property to Coleraine. You may wish to disembark and explore this local market town with excellent shopping and cafes. You can change lines and continue to Derry/Londonderry, capital of the Northwest and historic walked city. You may choose to continue to Belfast, where you can visit the Titanic Quarter, learning of Belfast's shipbuilding history, visit the Ulster museum and University area, take a tour of the city by bus or call in Crumlin Road jail for a visit only!

“Perfectly located beach side spacious town house.”

Fabulous 3 night break enjoyed immensely by our family party of 7 (aged from 9 to 79), in this amazing beachside location. Excellent spacious accommodation with 2 ensuites and 2 other bathrooms making it very comfortable for a large group. Quiet residential area, and just a 2 minute stroll to the pier and coastal path, making it very easy to enjoy the stunning scenery, West Strand Beach and walk into town. Very convenient also to drive to many other beaches and attractions in the area. Owners friendly and accommodating. We would highly recommend and hope to visit again.

“Brilliant week in superb accomodation”

5 star accommodation really close to the west strand from where you can go to the beach, walk to Portstewart or go to Portrush. Very comfortable beds and pillows made for a good nights sleep! Well stocked kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher and tumble dryer. Really pleased with our time here and we will come back.
