Moose Tracks cottage sits at the edge of Pitcher Pond, a beautiful 500 acre lake near Belfast and Camden, in the midcoast area of Maine. Roughly an hour north of Portland or 40 minutes from Augusta, the cottage is nestled on 2.5 acres with 200 feet of lake frontage. Remodeled in 2012, Moose Tracks is the perfect vacation retreat. Spend your days lounging in the large yard or down at the water's edge sunning yourself on a large floating dock. Swimming, boating, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, fishing and nature watching are all great activities here on Pitcher Pond. The cottage is in a very private setting on a quiet and serene lake, near a conservation area. Moose Tracks offers a great location with access to other attractions and points of interest. The scenic harbor towns of Camden and Belfast are an easy 15 minute drive away. Lincolnville Beach is a short 6-mile driveway, offering a sandy public beach, quaint shops and restaurants looking out to Islesboro and other Penobscot Bay islands. Numerous hiking trails are within a 10-15 minute drive at Camden Hills State Park.

The cottage has a cheerful, open layout with a sunny kitchen, dining and living room with a full bath, master queen bedroom and guestroom with twin beds. There is a detached guest queen bedroom along with an outdoor shower, fire-pit, gas grill, picnic table, large dock, canoes and kayaks.

“Quintessential Maine Lake Camp”

We had a family gathering on Pitcher Pond and loved our time at Moose Tracks Camp! The owner was very helpful and attentive and the property was private, quiet and on the best part of the lake! A well stocked kitchen, excellent bathroom and outdoor shower, comfortable beds and easy access to kayaks and all kinds of water fun! Looking forward to returning to Moose Tracks next year!

Peaceful and serene, Moose Tracks cottage was the perfect place to unwind and unplug. This property is fully stocked for a self catering vacation on a lovely "pond"...lake,really. Close enough to Camden and Belfast for dining and shopping. Wonderful outdoor adventures close by, as well. Host very accommodating to ensure a great stay. Would recommend families with older children, as one bedroom is separate from the cottage.

My family and I spent a week at Moose Tracks and we had a fantastic time! We couldn't have asked for better weather, and the lake was absolutely beautiful. We hope to come back next summer!

This is a sweet house, a nice combination of old/new feel, perfect for our family. The cottage is well equipped (there was nothing we couldn't find in the kitchen), clean, updated, most amenities yet lots of charm, and very private. The one cabin within sight looked vacant, and so we had the end of the cove to ourselves. Love the spacious lawn for badminton and fires, everything worked and was well thought out, and the lake and loons were lovely. Plenty of parking, quiet, the owners very pleasant and responsive. Ice cream only a few miles down the road :)
