Bedrooms : 4Bathrooms : 3 + 1 WC XENOS VILLA 2 is a luxury villa near the organized beach of Tigaki (500- 600 meters away). It is an ideal family or group holiday rental.Build on 2.500sq.meters of land in an area made of exclusive private villas.Located 9 Km from the Airport , 1 Km from Zipari village , 500 meters from a large number of fine restaurants, bars and shops at the very popular destination Tigaki village and 600 meters from the organised,with sea sports Tigaki beach .Some info about the Villa 2 : In a land of 4500 sq.meters there is Xenos Villa 1 , and Xenos villa 2. There is a distance of 30 meters ( 90 feet) between the 2 houses.The interior of the villa is of modern design with large windows and a stunning view to the sea. You can also see the island of Kalymnos and Turkey's coast from the living room. The villa is 250sq. meters and it is in 3 floors. The ground floor has a large, garden view bedroom (28 sq.meters) with a double bed and a sofa bed. There is a large bathroom with a bath tub .Next to the bathroom is the Gym room. The first floor has 2 sea view bedrooms with double beds , a large bathroom with bath tub, and a sea view studio (30 sq. meters) with twin beds, kitchenet and en suite bathroom with shower. On the second floor there is the living room ( 60 sq. meters) with fitted kitchen fire place and a bathroom. There is a large veranda 2.5 x 6 meters with a very beautiful sea view over the Aegean sea and island of Kalimnos. At the south side of the sitting room, there are 2 very large windows ( 3x2 meters) facing the largest mountain of the island DIKAIOS.The swimming pool is 10x5 meters in 8 shape !There is a garden all in grass and about 30 trees (banana, apricot,orange , lemon. avocado palm trees ect )A M E N I T I E S - Open plan well equipped kitchen consisting of stove, fridge, kettle, coffee machine, mixer /blender,toaster dishwasher,- Washing machine, iron and ironing board,- Air-conditioning in all rooms,- Central heating,- Fire place,- Flat screen satellite television in the sitting room,- Board games for children,- 2 hair dryers,- Baby cot,- 1 body weight scale,- Safe box,- Gym room, - Fire extinguishers,- First Aid kit,- WI-FI Internet,- Swimming pool (5 X 10 meters),- Pool sun beds,- Pool towels, - Outside shower,- Barbecue with all necessary tools, SERVICE The villa is serviced 3 times a week. “Excellent villa in an ideal location”
Probably the worst thing that can happen is for a holiday company to go bust just days before you're due to travel. That happened to us, which meant a last minute search for flights and accommodation to coincide with our planned dates. Although we'd only every visited Kos en route to somewhere else (courtesy of Laskarina, another much respected company that went into administration), the island of Kos proved to be the destination that would fit with flights and our dates. Amazingly, we discovered that there were still a few villas available for the week, and we eventually opted for Xenos Villa 2. On arrival, it was positive impressions all around. The villa is set in a pleasant and well-tended garden with huge palm trees leading up to the house. The pool area is a delight, with plenty of sun loungers, a decent sized pool and a plunge pool as well. It's also not overlooked (nod, nod, wink, wink). The villa itself has quite a modern, cubist design on the outside. Internally, everything is a little more traditional: modern but homely, in other words. We particularly liked the top floor, with its well supplied kitchen, comfortable living area and generous sized balcony. There were only the two of us, but all the bedrooms are well sized and, most importantly, have air-con. That may seem an irrelevance to some, but when temperatures are in the mid 30s in the day and upper 20s at night, at least you're guaranteed of getting a decent night's sleep. One of the issues we considered was self-catering vs. eating out. The Xenos villas provide both, as the kitchen is perfectly sufficient (a welcome pack plus a generous selection of fruit is provided) and the nearby village/resort of Tigaki has a huge range of surprisingly good restaurants and bars that seem to avoid the hedonist excesses associated with charter flights. Tigaki also has a good supermarket. If there's a criticism we'd make, it's the room inn the villa that's designated (unusually) as a gym; the combination of no air-con and cheap equipment just make it rather unappealing. Finally, we'd like to thank Maria and Nicholas for their hospitality and making a rather rushed holiday thoroughly enjoyable.
