Description

High-end modern fashionable design houseboat apartment with lovely sundeck on the Amstel River.

This spacious apartment in the front section of a 50m long former cargo boat has a bright spacious atmosphere with high ceilings and roof glazing.

With your private living & dining, kitchenette, three bedrooms and three private luxury bathrooms this is the perfect place for a longer stay for families or a small group of friends or colleagues.

A private sundeck with your own front door offers a nice view on the Amstel River.

LIVING

The comfortable living room has a couch and smart TV (with international channels like BBC, CNN & Netflix). Free high-speed Wi-Fi with private router is available. Stereo has a connector for smart phones.

Guide books, board and card games also available.

BED- AND BATHROOMS

All bedrooms have a nicely finished private bathroom.

Bedroom 1 is built in the bow of the ship, richly finished with mahogany wood. This bedroom has a large double bed (180X200) with a manually adjustable slatted bed base (head and foot). Next to this bedroom: bathroom with shower, bath and toilet.

Bedroom 2: Extra large double bed (210X210) with en suite bathroom with shower and toilet.

Bedroom 3: single bed or working space. Next to this bedroom: 3rd bathroom with shower and toilet.

PLEASE NOTE: We have a maximum occupation of 4 people (children included), due to local restrictions. Please inform us before your stay whether you prefer two double beds (two sleeping rooms) OR one double and two singles (three sleeping rooms). 

All bathrooms are nicely finished with slate tiles, modern fittings, rain and hand shower, hairdryer, towels and hand soap. Unlimited hot water available.

Shared laundry room (with washer & dryer & iron/ironing board).

LOCATION

The boat is moored at the Amstel River, the main canal of Amsterdam, on the edge of the Pijp neighborhood, one of the most cosmopolitan and vibrant districts of Amsterdam. You will find bars, restaurants, shops and public transport around you at walking distance.

A nice 15 to 20 minute stroll along the Amstel River brings you to the central canal area and the major nightlife area Rembrandtplein, the Hermitage Museum or Waterlooplein Fleemarket.

As is the case for almost all barges on the river Amstel, we do have a neighbor boat on the river. You can still see the river from the topside but not out of the portholes in the river side.

How do damage deposits work?

If Mariette (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
