A modern, self-catering, pet-friendly, ground floor apartment, which is an annexe to the owners property. Bedroom 1 - King size bed. Bedroom 2 can be double or twin beds. Travel cot available. Set in the heart of the North Essex Countryside, it has views over a shared garden with large pond, and fields. Come and explore the many miles of footpaths, local attractions, such as Castle Hedingham and the Colne Valley Railway, and the beautiful villages of Eastern England from this tranquil location.Key Info:- Pond View is the ground floor annexe in a separate property in the grounds of Pond House. If you are looking for additional accommodation, please see listing 676523 for our other annexe, Field View, which has 1 bedroom and sleeps 2 guests. - Large, shared, dog-proof garden.- Up to 2 well behaved, friendly dogs or cats welcome. Dogs must be supervised and under close control at all times in the shared garden.- Miles of footpaths through farm-land, close to the Colne Valley Path.- Car essential - parking by front door.- Cyclists welcome - lockable garage for bikes.- Close to wedding venues at Castle Hedingham, Finchingfield, Gosfield and others.- 3 night stay rate available. We have a large deep pond, children must be supervised in the garden.
Up to 2 well behaved dogs are welcome at a charge of £4 per night (£25 per week). Due to the shared garden, dogs must be dog/people friendly and under control at all times. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture and must never be left alone in the property.
No parties/loud music after 10.30pm.
At least one member of any group booking this property must be over 25 years of age.

“Fabulous Fabulous Fabulous!”
Just returned from a wonderful weeks holiday at Pond View apartment with my daughters and our dogs, with my mum also staying in the Field View apartment too. A wonderful location and the accommodation was spotlessly clean, welcoming, comfortable and with everything you could possibly need on holiday. Chris & Eppie we’re the perfect hosts; being very close by should you need any information or help, but never made to feel uncomfortable - we felt more like visiting friends than guests. The shared use of their fabulous garden was heavenly, with ample space for our dogs to safely play with us, enjoy al fresco dining or just relax with a good book and enjoy the tranquility and, luckily for us, some sunshine too! Lovely long & short walks from the door step and ideally placed for visits to Cambridge, Colchester, Saffron Waldron, Imperial War Museum at Duxford, a trip to the coast and all the beautiful surrounding villages in the area. Finchingfield being exceptionally pretty! Would not hesitate to return to stay again, a perfect relaxing stay and with the option to rent both apartments we all had our own space which was perfect! Thank you Chris & Eppie for a fabulous stay, we are very much missing Pond View / Field View already and hope one day to return x

“Amazing house”
Our stay was perfect, the hosts really helpful. The house was really comfortable for 4 people and a dog, very well equipped and in a great countryside location. Excellent for walks.
