This warm and welcoming 2-storey vacation rental in Belize is located on a large 1.01-acre property on Toucan Trail, close to the entrance of our Belize eco-community. With up to 5 bedrooms to rent, this Belize eco-lodge can accommodate up to 11 people. Individual room rentals are available for singles and couples too!

Our Belize jungle eco-lodge is located in Better in Belize EcoVillage, 10 ½ miles southeast of the village of Benque Viejo del Carmen in the Cayo District in Western Belize.

The Toucan House is named for the toucans that roost in the rainforest canopy above our Belize rainforest lodge. We deliver “off-the-charts-charm factor”!

Nestled in the foothills of the Maya Mountains, this Belize vacation rental offers a “super natural” environment including the opportunity to:

LODGING:

This Belize vacation rental offers a 5-bedroom, 2-bathroom eco-lodge that can accommodate up to 11 guests.

Our Belize rainforest retreat in Better in Belize EcoVillage is entirely off-grid – with solar and rainwater catchment. Our wonderful caretaker and his family will be your hosts when you visit.

This Belize vacation rental offers guests a choice when renting. When you send in your rental inquiry, please specify how many bedrooms you want to rent.

Lower Level Belize Eco-Lodge (With separate entrances):

-1 Downstairs Bedroom with Queen-size Bed and Sink with Shared Outdoor (very modern) Bathroom/Shower;

-1 Downstairs Bedroom with Double bed with Single Bunk above and Sink with Shared Outdoor (very modern) Bathroom/Shower;

-1 Main floor Bedroom with Double bed with shared main floor bathroom;

-1 Main floor Bedroom with Double bed with shared main floor bathroom;

-1 Loft level bedroom with King-size bed (shared bathroom on main level).

MEAL PACKAGE:

There is a meal plan that comes with this Belize vacation rental at US$50/person/day which includes three meals with non-alcoholic beverages. Meals are enjoyed outdoors under the palapa-covered dining deck. Meal Plan is optional if you are renting the entire house.

(PLEASE NOTE: We are not able to accommodate people with severe or life threatening food allergies or intolerances, e.g. peanut allergies, shellfish and gluten allergies).

Getting around

We recommend getting a car rental if you want to explore the towns and attractions nearby. If you just wish to stay at the Toucan House then taxis/shuttles can be arranged as well as pick up from there for any tours.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send April (the owner) a message.

If April (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
